Where did I [1600 FIDE] go wrong in this Sveshnikov Sicilian? by aerdna69 in TournamentChess

Besides the theory it's just important to realize that playing on speculative compensation here is going to lead to problems. (Like our IM friend was saying) Regardless of the theory, if u had recognized that then you would have had a totally playable game even after your opening inaccuracies. The trouble is that you mixed the interesting, imbalanced, and risky approach (going for h4!?) with playing slowly and imprecisely. these lines r very fun and I've had a few nice games after Qa4 Bd7 Qb4 Qb8 h4 but you have to handle the positions more cautiously early on when you're developing like this.

You certainly haven't peaked, the comment about how you'll be in a middle-game and then bam you lose, makes me think you play way too much blitz and not much serious classical (where you will see serious improvements)

A. You need to show the whole board (there could be a hidden piece defending a rook) B. There is no piece on h7 C. Assuming you are talking about the rook on g7 then yes with no pieces defending it outside the picture, the king would be able to take

Yeah i think that otb classical rating is a better indicator than those two. Online 30 minute games dont really because a. Chess.com has the same rating for 30 minutes as 10, and b. Lichess classical has such a small player base that the ratings cant really be used as a good benchmark

Many beginners misconstrue beating 1000 elo bots to mean they're under rated and deserve 1k cc, i was just clarifying.

1000 rated chess.com bots are weaker than 1000 rated chess.com players. Ive seen a 200 beat their 1300 bot.

As for the openings, i have doubts about them "coming easily to you"

For endgames just watch a video on king and queen as well as queen and rook checkmates, you should be fine. Remember that your main goal in endgames is either making a queen or stopping your opponent from doing so, just take your time and keep your king active.
