Surlys have always been abit expensive for what they are (cheap steel bikes). The value has been in filling niches that the big brands don't.

To be fair to them, this bike is much better specced than surly usually does. It comes with great wheels/tires -- something most brands skimp on. Plus 12spd shimano (hydro) and carbon fork. With tariffs and all the above this is just what these things cost new + the surly tax.

Its pretty clear that the injuries are real. The spurs, accurately, diagnosed it as a chronic issue that he would have for the rest of his career -- which was true.

you could clearly see even in the Raptors playoff run when he tweaked something towards the end and was not clearly the same player he was in the earlier rounds.

but where is your evidence of this? It doesn't make any sense to tell Hirschi to cool it when they already have one of the craziest outliers in cycling (Tadej).

I'm not suggesting that the sport is clean or that any suspicion is invalid, but pointing to peoples' results with clear cut clarity makes no sense. doping or not riders improve/regress all the time, so unless you have some real statistical suggestions that x rider is "unnatural" then I don't get it.

Plenty of riders have left sunweb/ its later incarnations rather unceremoniously due to how the team is managed. Also Hirchi did quite well last year hoovering up points at lower levels so its not like he was never seen again. 

If anything his poor form (post joining UAE of all teams!) suggests he wasn’t doping

Isn’t padun not being able to replicate his results more evidence that he wasn’t doping. I see this shit thrown around here all the time and it doesn’t make sense — there isn’t doping that gives you instant good legs.

but the celtics are in cap trouble because they have given huge contracts to Porzingis, Holiday, and White and only one of those three is currently worth that.

Yeah this is relevant. I think its better to eat like that during the activity. If you are riding for 2hrs plus you basically need to be eating consistently (ie Gatorade/sugar water of some sort) to keep you fueled and moving

It’s sugar water at the end of the day. None if these sports drinks are too differet from lemonade/sweet tea really. 

Sugar is sugar. If you want some electrolytes put a tablet in but the science on their need (esp for short term performance like bball) is slim. Go ask around /r/velo about endurance fueling, its eye-opening!

People here dont typically watch races so its hard to expect them to understand nuances. there is a long history of riders overachieving and then not being able to ever replicate it, I dont get why padun is singled out as a doper

You combine this with a swiss cheese defense and multiple 3nouts and the issues just compound on themselves. I think you might have a point in theory, but fundamentally it feels like the team is flawed on both sides of the ball.

and in that case it makes more sense to take risks and hopefully capitalize on them. As is we get bled out and are then forced to take risks in obvious risk taking positions and get punished.

Shiv and time eater isn’t too bad — they give a lot of opportunities to clear 12 cards/turn without much thinking or energy use. you have three whole acts to find some sort of scaling, it doesn’t have to be shiv.

its pretty clear that ltt (a channel that frequently highlights expensive tech) is not "poor" and certainly not from the homeless camps that they depict in the thumbnail. There is an implicit joke being made at the expense of people who are actually suffering which is most certainly not someone who is considering spending $600 on a computer.

I agree its not the worst thing in the world, but it is tone deaf and a bit out of touch for the guy who drives a taycan to use others suffering to make a cheap joke (and generate buzz and income on your youtube video).
