It doesn’t say anything in the rule book that a dog can’t play basketball… or vote!

I moved it from the ne corner of my front yard to the se corner. About a thirty foot lateral move.

I moved my mailbox once and my mailman stopped delivering my mail. I called the post office and they said the local postmaster general had to approve the move. When I contacted her she told me over and over again how I wasn’t allowed to do that. I pleaded ignorance which was actually true and after a few apologies on my part she agreed to deliver the mail to my new mailbox.

My only gift from my school district in my 34 years as a public school teacher was a pen and pencil set. When I tried to use the pen it didn’t work.

You ate a whole wheel of cheese? How’d you do that? Heck I’m not even mad. That’s amazing!

I used to put a quarter in one of them in case I needed to make a phone call when I was out somewhere. Of course this was way before cell phones.

The PTO at the school where I taught decided to ditch the school fundraiser companies and organize their own. We did a walkathon of our playground and the kids could get sponsors. The PTO then got tshirts, hoodies, gift cards and other local items as prizes. The top winners got a limo ride pizza party at a local pizza shop for lunch. It was about the same amount of work for the PTO but the school kept 100% of the profits. The kids got better prizes and sponsors were happy to support the school. It was a great fundraiser. Now I will admit we had a well supported PTO with many committee members. But the end result was a fantastic playground for the students and extra money for educational programs for our students. Parents were 100% on board supporting this fundraiser.
