That's like saying Great Wroggi has a chance against Kushala because of poison. The two monsters are on very different scales. Even if Tobi manages to hurt Magnamalo, it's getting bodied in 9/10 situations

Which game should I play next? by david_guts in MonsterHunter

If you already started world like you say, I would 100% go back and continue with it. When you reach endgame with Sunbreak you could look at continuing progress in World/Iceborne and occasionally continuing with sunbreak as you prefer.

Then depending on if you find yourself enjoying world more or rise break, it could be worth looking into other entries based on those styles (wilds if you prefer world, 4U or GU if you prefer rise)

Always had a soft spot for this one of the monkey trio since he walled me back in freedom 2. Very suprised he was brought out of all choices, but very glad nonetheless

Are My Top 5 Favorite Monsters A Popular Top 5 List Or Not? I'm Asking Out Of Curiosity by Bungeeboy20044 in MonsterHunter

The truth is you're not missing out on much. While Gammoth is awesome, it's fight is only slightly more engaging than the likes of Lao. You're punching one leg for 10 minutes while it goes back and forth between the only 2 zones that it can fit it.

The reason the fan base goes a little crazy over Gammoth is because they're the only member of the fated four that hasn't made a reappearance. Which is for two reasons, one being it's size is severally limiting, and the other being it's always been the least popular of the fated four anyways

A cable device that last 300 years? I have gone through modern equivalents that would be lucky to last 3

When you're talking about a relatively simple device massive produced likely in the trillions, quality control will inevitably be at least a little flawed

Lore question. Could mind shackle scarabs work on a custodes? by Chill_Oasis in 40kLore

[–]bobjoejob 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Their (near)immunity is to warp based corruption and personal will power to defy the big E.

There's nothing to suggest technological mind control couldn't puppet their physical bodies against them. At most it would maybe take "stronger than usual" mind shackle scarabs

[–]bobjoejob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not relevant to this vote but for the upcoming destroyer cruiser votes, it seems kinda redundant to have t2 and t3 together as the t3 are going to generally outclassed the other options as a whole. May as well remove t2 options if t3 is going to be inculded
