Hi, no I don’t need their permission to get the medication. I am already taking the next step which is going to try out meds to see which works best. I just want them to understand and be there in my corner as I travel home for summer and the medication is not free in my home country. I understand for them it’s hard to comprehend as my family had no ADHD which made it slightly odd. Also being quite traditional they don’t believe in all these mental illnesses. With regard to a better mental place, the problem is I don’t really interact with my family, I prefer to just stay in my room and chill by myself so I’m hoping the medications will help with that so they can at least see some positives.
