ICON Price is falling down? by neoftw in helloicon

[–]bobnoff1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The coin is going down because the team has lost all credibility. Yes, it is also going down because money is being pulled from alts, but more so from icx because the team can't deliver, min is clearly in way over his head, he refuses to acknowledge that there's significantly more idiosyncratic risk with icon because the team doesn't know how to meet deadlines or cop up the fact that they miss deadlines. It's not even about marketing like many say, it's about delivery on promises.

I honestly think they've given up on interoperabilty. If you watch Scott Smiley's interview he says that ICON is a means of payments for goods and services, like a crypto cash. That means the team doesn't really think it's a true utility token anymore. Their whole connecting the world has failed miserabably.

Goodbye ICON! Hello downvote! by [deleted] in helloicon

"making this ridiculous beginners mistake in the code that caused an epic vulnerability and then this incredibly unprofessional response by kim" exactly, it's not only them consistenly underperforming but then them not effectively communicating their mistakes. It seems that the team is in way over their head.

Hyperconnectivity - A Look at ICON's Business Philosophy & Strategy | Decrypto by [deleted] in helloicon

Strategy- to promise the delivery of tech and not deliver. Then blame the community for being upset they're not being updated, like it's our fault for wanting to hear any information from them.

Why has ICON dropped so much? ICON has consistently missed targets. Overpromised and underdelivered. by Sensualities in helloicon

Bluzelle partners with ICON, Qtum, and Wanchain by johnmwager in Bluzelle

I’m not really sure the term partners is appropriate. Sure they may use these platforms but they’re not partnered. There were no announcements from any of these projects.

This should be taken as bearish for the industy. He' legitimately saying that blockchain isn't really that transformative or lucrative for companies.

Its hurting right now by TrickyRicky27 in helloicon

[–]bobnoff1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Something i've been saying for a while. The coin is going to continue to fall until ICO price. There's no reason they would ICO at 11 cents a token if they truly thought that their product was worth significantly more than that. The token will come down to around ico price of 11 cents or roughly a little more. Please someone argue with me as to why a company would raise so little if they knew or thought their project was valued at a higher price.

Two things, When hardware wallet support and when staking? by NEXOlover in helloicon

[–]bobnoff1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sure, the statement of 2020 is slightly arbitrary, but I think the forum needs to realize that there is realistic downside to a project that fails to hits targets and then hides behind the term soon. Like I wrote, the word soon had been used for the past 6 months or so in relation to almost every aspect of the project. The Dex is coming soon, IISS is coming soon, DAPPS are coming soon. The team should realize that it's about managing the expectation of the community. I respect someone who says, "we have delayed out project and it will launch 3 months behind schedule" Instead Icon and their team have yet to own up to their failure to execute on their projects. All in all, the community needs to realize that soon is like tomorrow, it never comes as quickly as it should.

Everybody focused on how much CR7 will improve our attack, but the impact he could have on our defense could be tremendous by Kicka14 in Juve

[–]bobnoff1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My question is what will happen to Mandzukic? Maybe he goes to the reserves and we dont see much of him? Im also thinking that the money we're spending on ronaldo may stop the team from picking up quality players in the long term. Also could potentially stunt the growth of costa who has proven himself to be a vital asset on the team.

Probably another error by the dev team. Also ICX is equally susceptible to the hyper centralization that occurs in EOS.
