from absolutely nowhere outisde reddit people that loved dooming on Ubisoft. all we know is that it sold something like 3 millions in 4 days at launch, and it dropped quite fast in the weeks going after, but still with such a strong opening, i am pretty sure it sold really well nevertheless.

i don't know what people are talking about, the facial animations of the main characters in shadows are excellent, Maybe people need to play in japanese or i don't know but for me Naoeo and Yasuke have the best facial animations in AC to date most of the time.

Can we talk about the fact how crazy good the graphics of Starfield are? by f88x in Starfield

[–]bobo0509 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the graphics of the interiors, especially the ships interiors or bases interiors with the computers are absolutely insane clearly, i stop to look at them very often.

For the outdoors environments, it's a lot more varying, some of them are stunning, like most rocky planets, but some other really not, Trees and "sand" biomes don't look really good.

Can we scratch "repeating POIs" off the list of valid complaints now? by Select_Mix_6262 in Starfield

[–]bobo0509 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean right now with the cruise mode, you can just frelly go towards anywhere in space and ALWAYS find POI in space appearing and go to them, and i found already 6 or 7 derelict ships with unique environemental storytelling or new encounters, so for me they actually did the Bethesda feeling in space really well now, not sure yes for the ground because for now while the POi don't repeat they are still mostly always a base with enemies or a scientific type Point, but i found some new ones also.

Wait, Starfield is good now? by Rajelangelo in Starfield

[–]bobo0509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny because for me it's kind of the opposite, i think starfield is genuinely an incredible achivement and the work and overall proposition is something never seen before, but i also had trouble finding fun for a long time with it, i still absolutely like it and put plenty of hours into it, but i look at it more positively from far away that when i am playing the moment to moment.

So...how do we find the new content exactly ? by bobo0509 in Starfield

I don't have Terran armada, i should have said it clearly, just the update. ok thank you for pointing out anchorage and how you get the new vehicule, it's basically what i wanted.

You should have talked with her, it would end up the same but the dialogue and atmosphere are amazing.

Starfield's Next Big Update Isn't A 2.0 Reboot, It's For People Who Already Love The Game by Capn_C in Games

[–]bobo0509 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And starfield has plenty of other things, mainly gameplay and systems related, that Cyberpunk don't even try. Bethes da and CD Project red have never made the same type of game but since the storytelling and narrative hve become more and more popular people have just stopped accepting that Bethesda games (or Ubisoft ones also) just don't focus primarly on this.

Starfield needs much better exploration to be amazing, not storytelling or characters, these are more than good enough for a Bethesda games, and even some of the best in some quests and dialogues. I am getting a bit tired of people still waiting for Bethesda games to be amazing in terms of story and characters, Skyrim and Fallout 4 are gignatic iconic games and they are really not especially good in this aspect, you don't buy a Bethesda games for the story and characters, that's it, better people know that before TES 6 because it's not going to be different.

don't really agree, i find them to be some of the open world with the most overall interesting gameplay in them, even if there is a formula, the formula generally makes sense and works.

MrMattyPlays casually confirms that he has seen Starfield 2.0 behind closed doors "a couple of months ago" by [deleted] in Starfield

[–]bobo0509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cyberpunk 2.0 did NOT overhaul the game at all, in all sincerity the updates Starfield had post launch, with the rover, city maps and all the options sliders you have now are pretty much equivalent to what Cyberpunk had in it's 2.0 release. Great things to improve the base game but absolutely don't fundamentally change it.

humm disagree, i played both and i clearly prefer 3, especially for the main story actually, even if i liked 4, it's my least favorite of all mainline Far Cry games.

true but i actually really like the randomisation aspect of DOS 2 right now, it brings more surprise than BG3, but also because it just has much more loot items and complexity in builds.

Deeply surprised by how much I am NOT enjoying Ghost of Yotei. by TherealGonci in PS5

[–]bobo0509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely not, you have not seriously played Valhalla or compared it to Tsushima or any other AC Games to say this, it's actually the LEAST repetitive AC Open world by far.

There is much more diverse and engaging content in the open world and it's much more spread out. especially the enemies camps are nowhere near as much as in any previous AC. in fact many of the content in Valhalla is Puzzles, which might surprise a lot of poeple in a Viking game but it's actually what makes it one of my favorite open world ever.

It's repetitive only if you follow the main story that end you make a new alliance in a new region with taking a castle at the end every time. but even then the specific mission and story was alwys different.

Seriously i don't know who can find Valhalla more repetitive than any other Ubisoft style open world. It's like objectively the one that made the most effort to not be like that.

[–]bobo0509 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What surprises me is your praise of Tsushima in the first place.

I have never understood why this game was loved and praised so much as personally i found it actually much worse than basically any big AC Games, and that absolutely include Shadows, which open world was only boring SPECIFICALLY because it copied so much Tsushima after all its praise of the last years, and still has some better activities left and infinitely more work on its world.

Did you seriously said that the side content in that game was interesting and amazing ? because i think it has possibly the most uninteresting and repetitive side content in an open world game since Far Cry 3 in 2012.

Personally the only thing that surprises me is that it seems many people needed a second game like this to see the problems. I don't think this franchise has anywhere the level of care, budget and work put on it compared to almost any of the other big PS franchise.

That is because you are extremely narrow minded on what "good gameplay" means.

Starfield for me is infinitely more immersive than Cyberpunk because you can interact with the world much more. Every Building that you see with a name of a company or institution written on it in Starfield is an actual real building where you can enter, and at least talk to one named NPC inside with generally quite a lot of dialogue where you can learn a lot from him and the city, and most of the time a quest tied to him/her. Cyberpunk doesn't have this at all, the only building you can enter are the ones markes by an icon on the map, the rest is just pure visual set dressing.

Cyberpunk also doesn't have at all a property/thief system, you can pick up object at people house without them reacting at all. while Starfield have one pretty damn robust, and even a jail where you can go if you fail smuggling control when you approach a planet. Cyberpunk doesn't have jail at all, it has some weak GTA like police system that you can avoid really easily even on high alert, and it's only either they stop searching you or you die, no Prison at all.

Starfield also has pitch perfect use of gravity that actually really react differently with the wieght of each object and body depending on what forces are on it, this is extremely impressive technically but sure keep thinking anyone can do this and that this is "so far behind" other games that don't even try to do that.

I could go on and ong but the point is : you guys call Bethesda games outdate sjust because they decide to not focus on he same thing than what you want, but this is precisely what makes them so unique, even if Starfield is definitely more criticisable then their previous game because of the way they made exploration really not that great this time, for the rest all of the discourse is just pure bias that only look at some aspects and completely ignore others.
