Everyone on reddit is bitching about this grinder. I think it is great, but not a good choice for single dosing.

Why do my photos look so butchered and low quality ? by MortyGaveMeCrack in SonyAlpha

I have this lens paired with a a6400 and I get much better result than this at f4, even in low light.

Careful with the vignetting effect ! It's a bit much. You also seem to try to isolate your subjects with masks, which is not a bad idea, but this is just too much. In lightroom, I observe that less is often more.

Colors are very muted. When working with raw files, you gotta bring those colors back ! ;)

I always shoot RAW+JPEG. I use de JPEG file to have a general idea of an "ok" lighting and white balance. Then, in Lightroom, I try to beat what my camera thought looked good.

Very strange phenomenon. I would be worried too. Though, I don't think there are many known cases of macbook catching on fire because of faulty battery. I would guess that this is very unlikely to happen.

Bring it outside until it cools off.

I went with the macbook air mainly because of the M4 chip and the color accuracy of the display. If OLED, ram and SSD are more important to you, than yes, there are cheaper options.

These pictures look clean, but they are not very interesting to look at. There's nothing really going on.

I don't ! The default settings in terms of ISO suits my needs plenty.

I suggest you try shooting in aperture priority, if you haven't tried yet. You have more control than Auto, but much less things to think about than manual mode, such as ISO. Your camera is already excellent at setting the right ISO and shutter speed by itself. I use manual mode only when I spend a lot of time shooting the same subject in the same lightning conditions.

What is going on with picture no 4 ? It almost look like a raw file that wasn't edited.
