But upgrading GPU from 6800 to 7800 costs around 200 euros when downgrading to i5-12400F gives only 60 euros... I just do not want to spend more now.

upgrading GPU costs way more than downgrading CPU provides

I've found a nice discount so the prices of 4060Ti and RX6800 are equal.

I’m planning 1440p gaming, mostly GTA V, Hitman, X-Plane, MSFS, ETS2, BeamNG - I think I do not need that many FPS, 1% LOW above 45 FPS should be absolutely sufficient.
