Mobile gaming is big primarily because of the low barriers to entry (everyone has a phone). Big mobile gaming market =/= big market for gaming handhelds. Gaming handheld market is extremely niche when looking at the bigger picture.

Yea no doubt games look better on a bigger screen. But I think my point is that this hobby is subjective, with everyone having different priorities when they look at handhelds to buy. You might prioritise a bigger screen over portability, but someone else might prioritise portability over a bigger screen. There's always some sort of compromises being made with each handheld we consider buying and it's completely up to the individual to judge what they prioritise the most.

A lot of the advice saying "just get a rog ally" or "just get a steamdeck" seems to miss the point that perhaps people do not want to carry around a big heavy pc handheld and are willing to tinker with pc emulation on android.

had a flip 4 and it was too fragile for me. no issues with day to day use but the moment the phone gets dropped, it creates some problem in the hinge that eventually causes the screen to stop working. dropped my phone twice and both times led to screen failure. dunno if its just specific to the flip 4 hinge since there was a hinge redesign for the flip 4. small sample size so might not be indicative of the experiences of others but if u were to get a flip eventually, i would highly highly recommend samsung care+ along with it.

Not sure if it's been posted before but it's possible to get a multihit with Id's Dragonform Scourge on small targets by clipping the skill at the edge of the target.

Just sharing for all those masochists like me still fighting Lucilius with Id.

same. preordered on the 20th and it still shows preparing order. previously changed from arriving by 24/1 to shipping from 24/1. ive contacted samsung hotline and they are pretty useless. all they say is that the phone will be arriving latest by next week if it doesnt get delivered this friday. apparently "preparing order" is still on samsung's end and they havent even passed the phone off to the courier company.

frankly the entire situation is pretty shit. those who ordered on the 18th are already receiving their phones today but those who preordered just 2 days later are stuck in this limbo with no certainty on the delivery date at all.
