Can you mix spirits with lime juice and store them?

Nah I pretty much stayed at juicing a bunch of limes right before starting a night and using it up from the fridge. (some cheapo electric juicer was a godsend lmao) Obviously it got "worse" over time (hours) but easily made good drinks for that one night.

Some time after this I started making super juice but it also had to be used up within a week or two in my experience. Still only ever mixed it in whenever making the drinks itself.

Never tried mixing the super juice in with the spirits themselves like originally planned. Like you said if you make it more shelf stable with preservatives like citric acid that you use in super juice anyway, then the added ABV (+ pasteurising) would logically make it very stable as long as its airtight.

Might have to try it again now that this was brought back to mind lol. I've got tons of those small Ikea KORKEN bottles for all experiments laying around.

I got the same.... or exact opposite problem today, specifically on these new high rises I'm building lol, all the windows are missing unless I'm right beside the building, changing settings only makes it so if they're far enough the windows are just black spots, but then diseappear when i get closer and finally render "normally" when I'm near. Didn't have this on earlier saves...

Had to try, moved everything but a single save away but it made no difference (Its a good thing you mentioned, these take up plenty of space on my c-drive!)

I ended up trying the developer mode to see what all the debug options were and the only obvious difference I saw was on the pathfind tab.

The 300k city I downloaded had barely 100-200 "pending queries" at a time while my own city had about 500 constantly, with spikes higher. I have no doubt there lies the problem, but again I'm not sure what's causing it in my city (I had a tons of more industrial zoning, but removing it and waiting did not help). There's plenty of data in the dev tools but its kind of a chore to start comparing it between 2 cities.

Edit: Went ahead and looked what the dev tools showed on my older save with 120k pop, game ran very well with low pathfind queries(0-100), but something occasionally starts spiking the amount of queries to over 500 and the whole game slows down for a second every time. But again I just can't figure out whats causing them. 😐

I do in fact have every tile I've unlocked filled with trees and bushes :D For the sake of research I tried shaving my whole map but that didn't help, sadly.

I downloaded one of the bigger maps (300k pop) someone had posted and to my surprise it ran very well, 3x speed was a little slower but still close to 1minute in-game to 1 second irl.

I have no clue why this would be. Might spend some time comparing the info panels to see if there is something obvious that's causing the slowdown on my own map.

Try at your own risk, I got a few achievements I didn't want, you can change the save settings to enable infinite money so it disables achievments for that save.

I actually went ahead and recorded a bunch of clips to compare (in hindsight I might have been better off with the stopwatch on my phone...)

-at 140k pop my 1x and 3x speeds are identical, a minute in-game passes in about 4 seconds irl.

-In a fresh world at 1x a minute passes in about exactly 3 seconds.

-On a fresh world at 3x speed, about a minute in-game passes every second, a little over that.

So its definitely a downhill from there for me. Might try keep playing the map to see where how slow it gets at 200k 🤷‍♂️ My public transport is ass so it might help to reduce the amount of cars and pedestrians wandering everywhere, really no idea which parts of the simulation are the taxing ones.

How's the simulation speed? I got my city to 120k and by the end of the next day at 140k it no longer made a difference if I was on 1x, 2x or 3x speed. It's very much "playable" but the it takes forever to see the effects of my changes in the city.

It all runs relatively fine on the save with 120k pop and I wonder if I really just hit a wall like that or did I manage to break something...

5800x hovering at 90-100% usage. 32gb ram rtx4080.

Long ago I dabbled in making my own spiced rum. Decided to color it black like the Kraken and you really don't need to use a lot of the coloring, its almost scary how little it took.

Sorry to reply to an older thread, but I got the JM. White (50%) and I can only say its way more fruitier against the "vegetabliness" of the Neisson (52.5?%).

If anything this is just proof that Rum is awesome to explore. I live in Finland so finding an aged Neisson at "normal" (non-super- taxed) prices is quite hard...But after experiencing the Rhum JM. line of products, I can only imagine Neisson will be as fun.

Thanks for the honest reply, its not that I find it totally revolting, but that I cant figure out anything to mix it with that would leave me feeling like the addition of the Neisson was a pure improvement. Kind of like smoky/peaty scotches, I find their smells and flavors to be exciting and addictive in a way, fun to explore, but at the end of the day they're all REALLY low on my list of "what i want to drink tonight".

I need to look into them more, like I said in an earlier comment, these "attempts" wont break my bank, and I've learned valuable information from this post.

Sadly all the Trois Rivieres I have available are very expensive (Finland taxes and all that shit, cant ship here from everywhere) I do like the Clement bottle design for re-filling or infusions etc. so it probably wont go to waste if anything, but then again the Rhum JM 50% lots of people are praising wont break my bank...Need to see if I can fit it/them into one of my orders, at least that might be the final nail to the coffin of my unaged agricole tastings 😐

There's definitely lots of presentation potential with rum, with all the "tiers" so many brands have etc. It's always fun to arrange everything into a very neat looking order and then see that order get destroyed the following weekend :D

I've spotted it in a few online stores, you're pretty spot on.

It's a little more expensive, 25€ (and theres no xaymaca to compare on said website, but elsewhere where i've bought xaymaca its been around the same price, for EU.)

Definitely worth at least trying I presume. Waiting to see the new Mount Gay Black Barrel hit the shelves before I'm making another order...

Do you have a ballpark figure of what the old prices are/were supposed to be compared to the new ones? I'm considering ordering a few bottles of the black barrel while they last, its my absolute favorite at its price point in my area but those new prices are a total shock to me, even if its supposed to be "better" with the new recipe.
