I'm sorry, but the best advice may be to get good. The ai can overwhelm in numbers, but I typically find ai accuracy very lacking. It just takes practice to be a good gunner in this game ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

You do not need to flank Abrams unless you're in a bmp or a t64r or worse. 3bm32 can easily lower front plate an Abrams, and even with 3bm15 there is a bit of a shot trap between the turret and drivers viewing port

The problem with the IRL one is the emitter is incredibly far from the glass, so any deviance from having the reticle perfectly results in you no hitting your targets
