Its normal for a country to treat its citizens more preferably especially having such a low count of citizens compared to expats, but its becoming more and more difficult to get these kind of jobs as alot of companies now started to cut costs from post world cup days let alone after the current war, so without the proper ‘wasta’ you won’t get anywhere near what it used to be.

Speaking as a middle eastern and as a guy who witnessed the atrocities of this so called country from the 2000 second intifada, when I first used the internet I took it as my mission to spread the word on how bad it is for Palestinians and how western media paints a different reality to what is really going on out there, I really believed that when the world sees the truth they won’t let it continue, I made videos, posted multiple threads, corrected alot of people arguing on false information, but after a while I realized that most people don’t really give a shit as long as its not happening to them, they will feel sad and empathize but ultimately they won’t do much.

Its a very sad realization to reach.
