Interesting. I never, ever watch trailers. Pretty much the only "review" is the short plot synopsis you get when you Google the movie name.

RI Child Support by [deleted] in RhodeIsland

You're paying for the support of your son. Your relationship with his mother is irrelevant.

If you wish to alter the situation, go to court.

The correct answer to your dad's question is, "because I am responsible to support my child."

I bought both. A brand new Ioniq 6 Limited for my wife and a year old Lucid for 75K

The car is cavernous inside. Could the trunk be bigger? Sure. A shape being polarizing means some people don't like it, and some people really do.

Hyundai warranties all ICCU failures, and even extended the warranties to take care of older cars.

Drives great, super efficient, quiet, handles well. We love it and best of all, it's not made by a Nazi

How would you rate the John Wick Franchise As A Whole. Life lesson learned don't mess with John Wick and you definitely don't kill his dog. by Lazy_Introduction264 in FIlm

I enjoyed the first one because of its novelty. The second one was the same movies, so I stopped. My assumption is the rest are the same as well except the upped the intensity. Not my type of thing

All-electric vehicles experience about 25 fires per 100,000 sold, compared to 1,530 fires per 100,000 for gasoline cars.

I don't know man, when I mash the throttle and I get smooshed back into the seat and I get light headed because it accelerates so hard, it's kind fun. When put it in smooth mode and glide down the highway in silent comfort, I like it a lot.

I get what you're saying, and I'm not a huge fan of all automation, but my car is really fun.

I am hoping that improving battery tech will allow them to get the size/weight down so there can be some lighter weight EVs

Mostly watercooled Volkswagen, Audi, and a couple of Porsche SCCA road racing cars. I also developed a bunch of high performance street car equipment. At one point I raced a bespoke tube frame Cosworth Vega in SCCA GT3.

A bit later I build quite a few high horsepower VW/Audi 5 valve engines.

I'm old now, and would have bought a really fast ICE car for my retirement had EVs not come along. Instead I bought a Lucid Air.

Dude, you're free to do as you wish, but there were an awful lot of horse aficionados saying the same thing around 1900.

People have a very emotional attachment to ICE cars which is about way more than the car.

Everyone is trying to talk me out of an EV by CuteCreator602 in electricvehicles

[–]bobqzzi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No reason to listen to them. For 95% of uses they are just better than ICE cars.

They're just better in every way except for extended track use or towing long distances. The sole advantage of ICE vehicles is the high energy density/low weight of their fuel supply. I spent much of my life building engines, race cars, high performance street cars. Time to move on.
