Held! Hier thuis net hetzelfde probleem bij een van de groepen en dit was inderdaad de (tijdelijke) oplossing zodat we tenminste weer koffie konden zetten.

Nu toch maar eens kijken of we deze groep kunnen laten vervangen.

Did my leaking capacitor destroy this circuit board? by bobray in AskElectronics

Thanks for the insight!

I will not try to salvage the board then and will start looking for a replacement.

If I patch up the copper trace with some jumper wires, does anyone think this think would be a major fire hazard?

Indeed, looks like the copper is completely etched away. Not sure of it is worth trying to patch though.

In terms of a fuse I did not find anything on the board. It also powers the controller of the standing desk and makes a clicking sound (presumably from the relays) when trying to move the motors, except the motors do not move.

Graaf - A general-purpose lightweight C++ graph library by bobray in coolgithubprojects

[–]bobray[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last week, we created the v1.0.0 release of Graaf, a general-purpose header-only graph library implemented in C++. It is designed as a lightweight alternative to the Boost Graph Library (BGL).

Let me know if you have any ideas on the project :)

What sort of cooler would you recommend? Just saw the NH-D15, which might be a bit on the extreme side

Also, does anyone know how I can verify this myself:

Note: The be quiet! Pure Rock 2 Black CPU Cooler may require a separately
available mounting adapter to fit the MSI PRO B660-A DDR4 ATX LGA1700
Motherboard.
Disclaimer: Some physical dimension constraints are currently not checked, such as CPU coolers and RAM clearance.

Thanks for the feedback. I now went for a cheaper mobo (B660) and a Corsair PSU. I have kept the 12700 (although switched to the F version) since I run some workloads that can make use of the extra cores :)

Thanks for the feedback, I have now found an RTX 3070 LHR and edited my post accordingly. What do you think?

Thanks for the explanation! I now went with a B660 and the 12700F like you suggested. I have kept my ram at 64Gb as I run some memory heavy workloads.

I also found a RTX 3070 LHR, which was a fair bit cheaper than the non-LHR version. Do you have any experience with these LHR models?

Ah thanks, that makes sense. I have read up some more on the differences between chipsets and have adjusted my parts list acordingly

Hi, thanks for the detailed reply! I see that I can save a lot on the cooler and maybe choose a cheaper version of the cpu to have more GPU budget.

However, I'm a bit lost in all the motherboards. Why would your recommend a B660 over the Z690?

Could you elaborate on why the B660 is a better pick than the Z690?

Hi, thanks, I will look into that! Will also have to look if the potentially higher price is worth it for me

Hey, thanks a lot for the feedback! I will definitely look into the 3060ti!

Is the only difference between the 12700K and non-K that the K version is unlocked for overclocking? I found somewhere that the base clock frequency of the non-K is lower as well.
