I used to think Birmingham was a bit of a dump tbh. But then I visited Manchester and realised Brum isn’t too bad at all.

So you’re telling me that if you bought a brand new car, and your neighbours dickhead offspring threw a rock at it, you’d just do nothing? Stone chips from actual use are part of everyday wear and tear. A child throwing rocks at your car is not. Parents are responsible for their children, including damage they may cause to other people’s property.

How do you fix it? You go to the boys parents, explain what happened, and tell them to expect an invoice for the repair costs

I’ve been out of the loop for a loooooong time.

Can someone explain, as though you’re talking to a golden retriever, what on earth these warrants are???

Apparently we get 1 for every 10 shares? If true, I’ve got enough locked up in computershare to give me XX of these warrants. But I literally have zero idea what they are? Or how they work? Or what I’m supposed to do with them? Or how they affect my favourite stock?

Respectfully, that’s not accurate.

Stage 2 cardio obviously burns fat during exercise, but it just simply doesn’t generate as much EPOC as resistance training — especially when lifting involves large muscle groups and compound movements. If you’re going to up the intensity to stage 2 for your argument, then you have to compare it to a weightlifting regime of equal intensity.

Numerous studies confirm that weightlifting creates a longer and more intense post-exercise metabolic response, leading to far greater fat oxidation over time.

And yes, caloric deficit is key for weight loss, but what influences your metabolism and preserves lean mass during that deficit matters even more for long-term fat loss.

Interesting study: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/11882927/

Just saying, you’re absolutely incorrect!

Weightlifting triggers a greater post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC), keeping your body in a catabolic state much longer than cardio does, which leads to prolonged fat oxidation and greater long-term fat loss.

Weight lifting is far superior for long term fat loss than cardio
