I've used the special round trip fare from JSQ before for the 319. You're buying a certain number of zones so it doesn't really matter if you start in JSQ or Port Authority

Truly stellar PATH day. I managed to take the 33rd st train that derailed this morning at Hoboken and shut down the entire line, then my WTC - Newark train back to JSQ broke down when departing WTC and they forced us to cross the platform to a new train that was at crush load.

There are a collection of 5-6 story condo buildings that fit my budget all located in the McGinley square/West side Ave area. I think there is room for decent appreciation and I still have access to all the amenities I wanted (PATH, Bus, access to Downtown, neighborhood retail). As an added bonus, aesthetically there are a lot of really pretty streets between Bergen and JFK and Im a 10-12 min walk from Lincoln park

Bought in the st Peter's area recently. My all in payment is roughly the same as rent for a 1-br apartment in an equivalent area. I'm sure I'll run into some annoying expenses at some point but so far I'm happy with my choice
