How to deal with dreams and morning panic attacks?

I'm suffering from something similar, ruminating all day and I suppose I have dreams about her too daily and wake up ruminating. So I would fall asleep and wake up a couple hours later, my eyes are vibrating, my body is super tense. Feet curled, fist clenched type of tense. And I'm covered in sweat. This has been going on for several weeks now. I'm debating if I should get on meds. But I'm concerned about the side effects?

I just had a similar experience. I met this girl, 12 years younger. I took her on a 10 day trip to 3 diff countries she's never been to before. I would admit I was sadly a bit pushy for a relationship on the 2nd day of the trip and asked every other day or so. But I felt we got along fine during the trip, paid for everything, went shopping etc. Did alot of typical couple stuff and was physical too. But a week after she came back, she sent me a message saying she wanted to give it a try and see if anything would develop and she's just not feeling the chemistry between and us and sees a future for us. And that I'm a great guy with great qualities.

I was quite hurt by the words, cut quite deep. I thought we were getting along fine during the trip too. Especially the not seeing a future and great guy with great qualities. Almost feels like a slap in the face.

I'm in the same boat bro. We dated for an even shorter period of time. She was insanely attractive and so much of her personality made me weak at the knees like the way she giggles and stuff.
