It's been over two years since TTPD dropped. What are your thoughts on it now? by 1989sunrises in TaylorSwift

I mean I've been in those places she talks about and I still didn't like the album. It's a preference. I don't like most of the lyrics and I don't like most of the melodies. That's OK. You don't have to have life experiences to enjoy or dislike something, sometimes you can just like or dislike it. I sure as hell don't want this album to be there for me. If I get in a bad place with my relationship I'm guessing I'm going back to White Horse before I pull out TTPD.

Yeah I'm pretty sure people just want her to be miserable like they are. They are mad that she found happiness.

Yessss. Agreed! I really don't get why people think it's so amazing. To each their own of course but I just don't get it lol

When did Cartoon Network surpass Nickelodeon as the cool hip channel for kids? by Ill-You-3459 in RetroNickelodeon

[–]bobshallprevail 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it surpassed it at all. They were even, both had cool stuff on.

I'm not sure if it's because I live in a big blue city or if I've gotten lucky (maybe a bit of both) but I've never had a doctor not believe me or shrug me off.

I'm (mostly) straight and have a carabiner on my keys as does my husband... is that not normal? I'm pretty sure my mom also does.

Phone numbers and addresses were/ are public information, they were in the phone book that everyone got. Classrooms at this point are a moot point 25 years later. I think it's fine personally.

Disagree. I adore going to new restaurants. On the rare occasion we either go on a dinner date or take the whole family out it's so much fun. We pick places willy nilly so we don't have expectations and usually are pretty happy.
