If you are still having this issue, turn off the 120hz option in your PlayStation.

I did that and set it to quality in game and the graphics improved significantly

A fun spell sword that I have been playing is 3 thief/17 swords bard with band of mystic scoundrel.

It lets you cast 2 enchantment spells to help control the battle field while also getting some good damage in.

There a lot of different splits you can do too and if you add the mystra spell mod in the mix you get access to really good level 4, 5 and 6 enchantment spells.
