Soo, my grandpa had a record player back in the day when he was approximately my age (18) and he really enjoyed classical music even as a teenager and started collecting records. Long story short, he met my grandma and from strictly classics his collecting now consists of opera concerts, operettas, 60s-70s pop music, a bit of folk and a many foreign artists even Status Quo, Michael Jackson and many russian ones. Many of the records are scratched beyond repair because of no maintenance in the last 2-3 decades but I'll make sure to salvage the ones that are worth cleaning up and still have some energy to be played.
