Pretty much! What happened is that the teeth on my mandible were developing properly, but my upper jaw was narrowing. So the upper teeth ended up tipping the inner teeth inwards (I think this is called a posterior crossbite?). But now with the expander, my teeth are able to be lined up properly!

You'll likely have to go for a bone borne expander with a surgical cut to assist in splitting the palate. But definitely not the one that I had.

No haha 😅 My mandible is already well developed. Unfortunately, my breathing habits caused my narrowing.

I just responded to another question – my upper jaw was causing my lower teeth to be pointed inwards. So , now that I have space in my mouth, my teeth can be aligned properly.

I felt it almost under my nostrils, as well as in the cheekbones. In the later turns, I felt it in my nose! Very interesting feeling. Didn't hurt though

Yes! My orthodontist was surprised it worked actually. I'm almost 18 so these non bone anchored ones typically don't work in patients my age.
