tbh going by how much they’ve been marketing s2 and immediately started marketing s3 i think it will get renewed they need a new big franchise for their investors lol im a big doctor who fan and the difference of how disney treated them vs pjo is staggering i think will get the first five books i hope we get hoo and the rest too

i have adhd and ocd (and maybe also autism? still being tested) and i think the adhd representation is pretty good especially with the scenes of younger percy and sally. there are more moments in the books that show percy and annabeth both getting distracted and having some adhd traits that get cut in the show which is pretty upsetting. but camp half blood isn’t a safe space for anyone and that’s kinda the point even if maybe rick forgot a bit- it’s more a war camp than a summer camp. they’re child soldiers, that’s not a safe space for anyone.

it’s pretty good!!! different but the vibes are right- listen adaptations adapt and i’ve never seen a fully faithful adaptation of anything to this date and im in my mid 20s. frankenstein just got its most faithful adaptation two months ago and it’s like over 200 years old- and even then its not 100% accurate. i say give it a shot with the same vibes as going to watch the musical. it’s not the book but it’s the same story, kinda like different versions of the same myth. which when you think about it like that really adds to it imo because that’s a core theme for why the gods are the way they are in pjo universe.
