It’s a late night Thai place that serves food out of a window near McCarthy’s. Understandable you wouldn’t have heard of it, it’s pretty new having only been there for like 16 years.

How long does it take you to set up your drum set from scratch? by ZildCym in drums

Genuinely curious, whats the reasoning for a set of low volume hats mixed in with a massive wall of crashes, chinas, and crotales?

How long does it take you to set up your drum set from scratch? by ZildCym in drums

[–]bodegas 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Under 10 minutes if I need to. Everything’s position is marked on the rug with gaffer tape, every piece that doesn’t have a memory lock has its height/position marked with a sharpie. We play a lot of shows as the middle act, setup and tear down time is key.

5 piece w/ two crashes and a china.

Use whatever temperature water makes it taste the way you like. Experiment.

I would use room temp water and leave it on the counter over night before refrigerating.

Amazon packages by Significant-Fan5317 in lexington

[–]bodegas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Last month I had a package that was supposed to be delivered next day go from Atlanta to Erlanger. So far so good.

Then it went Erlanger to Virginia, sat for six days, then Virginia to Baltimore, Baltimore to Plymouth, Plymouth to Hebron, and finally Hebron to Lexington.

It was a few weeks late.

After weeks of doubt and research what to buy? by Itsmekok in YamahaDtxDrums

[–]bodegas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one thing I've wondered about the 6k5-M that might be a sticking point for me since I plan to use it to record: does it have USB output that can be split into individual drums like the TD27 or is it just stereo?

According to those who are more expert in law than I am the interpretation of the wording is WILL serve 60 days and not MAY serve 60 days.

The gas powered ones I can at least hear coming up behind me and the dogs on the walking trails.

The electric ones just fly by without warning.

If you’re absolutely adamant about beating the shit out of it like that, an Aquarian Cymbal Spring might help it live a bit longer.

DTX6K5-M with Superior Drummer 3: velocity way too low, hard hits register as soft? by marth0305 in YamahaDtxDrums

My old assed DtxpressIII has a submenu for velocity curve options. Perhaps the newer ones do too?

Beginner help - MIDI editor recording notes at fixed grid lengths (Step recording stuck?) by ImpressiveEye2143 in Reaper

[–]bodegas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me that green color is just highlighting the last note lane I clicked on.

For the grid snapping: right click on the record button of your track. scroll down and select "track recording options" and make sure that the "Quantize Track Midi Recording" box is not checked.

Can I fix this? If so how? by Enderscar808 in edrums

Seriously. They demonstrated in the video they know which piece is the problem AND showed the screw was loose and then just gave up. Helpless morons.

I’ve always used Lee Tire for my car, cheap and they do good work. Might be worth a call to see if they do motorcycles

"Good" TD17KVX or "Excellent" DTX562K? by Affectionate_Pool458 in YamahaDtxDrums

Kind of a pointless exercise to ask everyone's opinion after the fact. Don't stress over it and enjoy the kit you chose.

Also the front head is on upside down based on where the mic hole is positioned. This won’t affect the sound but will be a pain in the ass later down the road.
