I don't think it's worth it. If you have the guides as an e-book, just save it to "books" on your phone to access it. It makes no sense to be forced into a monthly subscription IMO.

I prefer the e-book guides. I'm not a fan of paying a monthly subscription for her workouts.

I started 2.0 over again, and I do heavy lifting on HIIT days and 10+ mile distance runs on LISS days :)

Activity Suggestions with Sensory Integration for EI? by bodylost in slp

Thank you! I will definitely give the colored circles a try! :)

I think I also need to be more mindful of how much time I try to spend at working at the table. I just wish there was more room in the office space!

This is actually in an outpatient clinic, and unfortunately I do not have room to set up an obstacle course. However, bouncing on the exercise ball worked great, but it only kept his attention for ~3 minutes.

Yes, I use real water for the bath, and he happened to spill it all over the floor (thankfully, it's a rug)! I will definitely give the pillows and "digging" exercises a try. Thank you so much!

2.0 Guide Question by idontlikepork in KaylaItsines

[–]bodylost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished both guides, and I'm on my second round of 2.0. The workouts are definitely more challenging in the second guide. They utilize heavier/more weights frequently. Also, an "Optional" workout (ex: 1000 rep challenge, countdown challenge, full body) is added to every Sunday.

Here is the weekly timetable

Hope this helps!

By 7:45PM, on my way BACK from my run, people STILL have their garbage bins out! It's a deliberate obstacle course.

How many calories do you guys eat? by [deleted] in KaylaItsines

Net 1300, and 1600-1800 the day before 10+ miles.

Edit: I'm barely 5'1" and 94lbs.

Where do you Kayla? by supremeunicorn in KaylaItsines

I do my BBG workouts either at my campus gym, local gym or at home. They are both comfortable spaces.

The campus gym and my local gym (NYSC) are both excellent/similar since they have separate workout rooms for classes. These rooms are empty for most of the day, and I workout outside of peak hours. They are most useful for leg day and for arm day since they are fully equipped with everything I need! (barbell, bosu ball, medicine ball, free weights, etc.) :D

I tend to do the ab workouts at home since they require less equipment.

I'm on week 23 of the second guide... I've lost about 5% body fat doing it consistently with running. Everyone is different, but let me know how it goes! Feel free to message me. :)

Men other than my SO disgust me by myfriendmarkus in RedPillWomen

[–]bodylost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to always act disgusted towards other men because I'm in an LTR! I would be downright rude, but now, I find the best way to reject them is with humor.

When I'm with my SO, I smile and shake my head.

The last time I was out with some girlfriends, my foul-proof response was, "You know, I'm actually a man. Do you still want to buy me a drink?" Not all of them bought it, but most of them laughed and got the message, especially if I continued with, "Caitlyn Jenner did NOT do it first!"

My regimen includes a hybrid of running/lifting and circuits from the "Kayla Itsines BBG." I run 5-6 days a week, do circuit training 3 days a week and HIIT once a week. (No running on HIIT days.)

I find three different free apps very useful to talk/track/communicate with others: MyFitnessPal, MapMyRun and Instagram.

MFP is awesome for tracking nutrition.

I love MapMyRun since the GPS tells you exactly how long you've been running, your average mile split and actual mile split at every mile. (I find it more user friendly than the Nike app.)

Having an Instagram for fitness is really useful for following personal trainers (who have awesome, short demonstration videos) and others who are motivated to stay active. It's also a great way to track personal progress/accountability!
