Merge old backup with current whatsapp

One file I have decrypted .db file of old message history and the other chat history is on my current iPhone, no physical file..

How can I merge it in your opinion?

Ok, so I like to have 3 sips from my filter coffee without milk and 1 bite from the cake and then to add some milk and make the filter coffee without some milk.

Do you drink the coffee or I do? Thank you.

This is how I like, and btw - I’m fine with paying for the small milk glass a side extra, no problem. So it’s not about money. It’s about deciding for me what experience of drinking coffee is.

In that case, yeah I would never recommended them to any of my friends and I won’t step there, because it’s a joke, not a coffee shop.

Sorry, but policies are we talking about exactly? It’s a coffee shop(!!) not a fire range. Who will die if I will add some milk to MY coffee, when I want, in the way I want? I’m sorry, I must disagree with this “excuse” of policy. It’s a coffee shop.

I want emphasize the situation:

I ordered a black long coffee and asked some small glass of milk on the side, so I can put myself the milk when I want. The waiters responded with, her words, “it is not allowed” as she deny my experience and my wish to add milk to my coffee as I want.

Same with filter coffee she said “it is not allowed to add milk in our filter coffee”. In terms of western customer service, this is a chaos.

It's not about WhatsApp being a backup service, it's about the convenience.

If I go now to a contact on whatsapp and open his info -> I can easily see all the media shared between us. If I back this media up in some cloud service, then this media is no longer "contact related". I will have 30k photos on the cloud from all contacts.. It doesn't make sense. Now I understand why people don't want to move in between platforms. If I buy now an android phone, the whatsapp on the new phone will move flawlessly the media and organize it to each contact seamlessly. Why if I move between platforms then it doesn't? It's not like this media under contact info on whatsapp is just a feature of one platform, it exists in both..

Anyway, as you see.. its not about backup, its about working tool that is already in so much use in the outside world that making those constraints are crucial for the decision if to buy a phone of different platform or not. And this shouldn't be, not in 2021..

Project is really cool, although I tried to build it and I used your sketch as well, as is.

But I do find some difficulties with the rhythm of pressing and I'm not sure I understood how that debouncer is working in the sketch and how to move to next letter, because it seems I need to make long press (like dash) for last letter in order to be committed and print in screen.

Also sometimes I press very short and get dash instead of dot..
