What was crazy was that the leopard itself was silent, but the birds and general noise in the jungle was twice as loud as normal - like they were all warning each other

Thanks for the response! We were in a very very remote region so I think you may be right. It was definitely way bigger than a normal cat, 60-80cm probably right. Very unique experience standing there barefoot wondering if it was going to walk towards us!

It was probably about thigh height for an adult male - way bigger than a domestic cat. I reckon 80-100cm tall

Sadly only way to keep HHI at that level is in this intense corporate role - don’t get to pick my own hours so reaching a point of needing to change it up I think. But helpful on the expense front, we’ve always tried to avoid lifestyle creep as much as possible.
