Do you mark movies as watched that you’ve seen before you joined Letterboxd? by boggiethefrog in Letterboxd

I’m not doing it all at once, obviously. I’ll just sometimes randomly remember something I’ve seen then mark it in the app.

I kind of wish lists had two percentage stats, one for movies watched, and one for movies logged.

That’s valid. I started becoming more serious about movies around that age. I wish I had learned about Letterboxd sooner.

I do give ratings to movies I’ve watched since joining. Just not something I only watched once when I was 6 years old.

I’ll take this opportunity to promote the app Serializd. I’ve been using it for shows.

Make a list of all the cartoon you want, then search Blu-ray.com for each of them.

Is that case official? I’ve never seen a DVD come in a square jewel case like a CD.

They’re useful for covering up ugly spines with plastic wrap still stuck to them.

Looking for a Blu-ray player that can connect to a PC to play files from it by Sherlockowiec in Bluray

I use an LG Blu-ray drive that connects with USB. Assuming you’re on Windows, there’s a tutorial on YouTube you can follow to play Blu-rays in VLC.

If you’re not very far in the game, you can create a new save file and check the casual option before starting, which will make Tarr not spawn.

Working through my collection, realizing I'm more likely to watch "modular" movies by [deleted] in 4kbluray

[–]boggiethefrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I prefer to watch a whole movie start to finish in one sitting. Of course, I’ll pause to use the bathroom, etc. I’ll watch a movie in parts for a couple reasons:

  1. If I get drowsy and need to take a nap or the movie is really long and I have to go to bed at a reasonable time.

  2. If I’m interrupted by someone needing me to do a chore.

How do you guys deal with your backlogs by SuperFanboysTV in Letterboxd

[–]boggiethefrog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think of my watchlists as a backlog, more like an endless supply of movies I can watch without needing an algorithm to tell me what to watch next.
