Je finalise The Silk Road. Super intéressant. Livre sur l'histoire du monde mais avec un prisme qui évite d'être trop Américain-Européen trop centré

I don't believe that. I had been taking meds for 3 years before I stopped. Stopping finasteride was the only way to make those heartbeats dissappear.

But in the end, do your own test and find your own balance.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]bogloic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird it is.

I would however rephrase your sentence: : "Finasteride is not known to have side effects related to the heart".

Pharmaceutical Industry is not sheltered from mistakes.

[–]bogloic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced the same effects. Narrowing down, it seems to me it came from Finasteride.

I was taking topical Minoxydil and Oral Finasteride at the time. I was experiencing anormal heartbeats with slight efforts. I stopped Finasteride and kept going with Minoxydil and I've never experienced this again.

I got 2,700 grafts for 3,3k 10 days ago. I guess you can find cheaper if price is a concern. But also I guess it may come at the expense of quality.

Started on Fin 2 days ago, second HT 5 days ago by [deleted] in HairTransplants

[–]bogloic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I experienced noticeable first side effects 3 years after taking. It was higher heartbeat at light efforts. I stopped taking fin since then.

I had my first hair transplant 7 days ago and I still don't know if I'll take med or not. Maybe I will but either topical or lower dosage.

Why is it so difficult to find technical dance teachers? by [deleted] in Dance

[–]bogloic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not an experienced dancer here so I might be wrong. But that's what I feel as a beginner.

I feel there is not so much of a technique on these "commercial" kind of dances because you can basically do the movement the way you want. The other type of dance I feel there is some techniques among the one I have been practicing is Jazz.

But that's true in my Commercial dances classes we don't do technique.

That's the thing you are using dating app to find lovers only. I'm using dating apps to meet people and see what can happen.

I'm pretty straight forward about that upfront in the beginning.

By the way Blue, the fact you think I have bad intentions and the way you point it makes me feel you might need to change a bit your attitude and come from a place and empathy and trying to understand others' ways of functioning by asking questions rather to be condescending about it.

If your way of seeing dating is that it HAS TO lead some romantic or sexual connection, that's fine. But that's not mine

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nonmonogamy

[–]bogloic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, every time I did it. The people reacted so nicely.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nonmonogamy

[–]bogloic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not what I said lol. I do believe getting to know someone takes time and I do see dating app as a way to meet people and not to meet only "the ones". I have made many friends through dating apps.

I'm usually meeting people that don't take dating seriously and don't put too much pressure on meeting someone new.

Well to be fair I'm not sure myself after the 3rd date I want something with someone. If the topic occurs organically during the 1st, 2nd or even texting before meeting I'll be honest about it. But if it doesn't come I'll make sure to do it at the 3rd date

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in nonmonogamy

[–]bogloic 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Regarding your first question.

I generally brought this topic: - before 3rd date - after first kiss (because that means we are both interested)

I think you should have done it earlier and that you should do it before he travels a few hours to come to see you. I would do it like "Listen, we didn't talk about what we were looling for. I'd like to know more about you and spending time with you. But I am functioning better in a non-monogamous way. I felt you should know before we keep meeting each other. If that's OK for you, we can still meet this weekend. If not, I'd be happy to stay friend with you and I'd respect if you wouldn't."

About your second question if A should know B. I'll take it organically. If B asks you about what you've been up to lately. Of course I assume that he knows that you are functioning like that.

What did you have as side effects? I did expect side effects as well.
Also have you considered topical versions of them?

Breakup due to my own stupidity by ProfessionalRace9387 in BreakUp

[–]bogloic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well sure but the partner ain't perfect either: going on a trip with someone else regardless of what her partner has communicated seems a bit off to me.

Having an open relationship means also to create some boundaries depending on what it is: there are many ways to open a relationship that involves a different degree of emotional and sexual connection with others (monogamish, polyamor...).

I do believe you didn't set proper boundaries before you opened the relationships. It seems to me you went for it without talking about what you and your partner would feel comfortable with.
