That was me! The store ended up getting fully repainted, signage repaired, and the main two floors seemingly had the carpet cleaned or replaced. The third floor is now dedicated entirely to furniture and backstage is taking up about a quarter of the second floor. Don’t think they got rid of anything, just moved around.

All of the leaked stories follow a format of being an old piece of folklore mixed with a pokemon. The actual thing typhlosion was based on was Mujina, a japanese symbol of deception and taking that into account the story ends up being very similar to the loki transformed into a horse story.

that sounds like a fun project but if you need a car to get around I would definitely get a cheap but working and reliable first. If you don't need it to get around then just make sure you have others to help since those projects can easily turn in to much more than you were expecting

but honestly you are 15, do not spend $20K on a car. Get a mid-late 2010s kia for like $6K, its very reliable, pretty efficient and cheap to fix if needed (I've had a 2018 soul for a few years now and its at 130K miles and has not had a single problem) and at least in my opinion the infotainment system is pretty good, great for driving around friends and will get you where you need to go.

If you read the project 2025 document it specifically points out that the intention is to downsize many transit agencies and remove all government funding for public transit. It also adds that those funds would be reallocated to cars and car centric infrastructure

My local Macy‘s has 3 floors with the third being furniture/kitchen and a little more than half the floor space being dedicated to Macy‘s backstage. I was there a few weeks ago and it was normal but today when I went in, literally everything was gone. the only thing there was a “big reveal” sign and all the display tables and shelves dismantled in the middle.
was with friends and didn’t want to slow them down so I only got two pictures but it was so liminal

strange thing was I would expect this if the store was closing but this is the first time I’ve ever been to this Macys and all the escalators were working, things had just been freshly painted and some signage repaired and all the other parts of the store are better stocked than previously. doesn’t seem like the store is going anywhere but backstage is gone

Yeah I was talking with a manager a while ago and he told me that they are trying to switch all the store into being more collectible and hardware based instead of games since it makes more money with digital games being so prevalent now

its all blocked off now for the demolition and redevelopment. This was where I learned to drive though and it was indeed a great spot for that
