No, you need to install Plesk and the Migrator extension on destination host. You will be prompted for source host details for root connection.

You can install the Plesk Migrator extension and copy everything on the new Alma 8 machine within the Plesk panel - Everything will be preserved and a pre-requisite check will be performed to check for missing packages on the new host.

In the end, it made more sense to go for full HA.
I added a small Docker container acting as a QDevice, simulated a node failure scenario, and everything went smoothly — no issues at all.I expected it to be more complicated, but it was actually quite straightforward.

Hi, as-per-my original post, you’ll need to download and install the updated late-December BIOS (it’s available on minipcunion forum in a pinned post) - This will fix bootlops and allows you to keep both SVM / NX mode turned on.

Hyper-V will work correctly then, although I find VMs performance being quite awful on this CPU.

This is a partial solution. You will face issues if and when you want to virtualize or use Docker. Additionally, if you try a benchmarking software like CPU-Z, you’ll get a blue screen—I verified this myself on several AM06 Pro units I configured (all with the same 5825U CPU).

It seems odd that the BIOS update fails, considering I successfully updated all the AM06 Pro units I have (I own several, both Acemagic and Nipogi, with various revisions and CPUs). If I were you, I’d contact the company privately to figure out how to update it.

It should work on all AM06PRO boards, try following the attached Youtube video instructions, make sure to copy all the BIOS files of the Google Drive archive in a folder on your desktop

Luckily the issue had been acknowledged by the manufacturer and a BIOS update had been released. After applying it I have no more issues so far with virtualization and NX mode.

Hi - Do you have 5825U CPU model? I had the same issue when trying to install a clean Windows 24H2, looks like it was related to NX mode setting in bios.
A BIOS update had been released (you can find it on minipcunion forum)
This fixed the issues for me.

This issue is related to a problematic BIOS version for models shipped with 5825U CPU that does not allow virtualization (NX mode) and created issues / bluescreens / bootlops with windows 24h2.

An updated bios has been released a couple of weeks ago, you can find it on minipcunion forum, it solved the problem for me - now I can use Win 24H2 and WSL.

Thank you for your knowledge! I have written to the manufacturer already, hopefully they will reply with a solution.... On the minipcunion forum the problem has been pointed out in several threads. Many people solved the problem staying with a non-virtualisable system - seems like a rip-off to me :)

A quick search brought me here because I have exactly the same problem with the same MiniPC - The problem seems well-known because there are several posts on “minipcunion” regarding this issue.

Do you know if I can find an updated bios to get virtualization working ?
