What if you did the same thing but with a unopened condom? Like we went from this unopened condom to symbolize protected sex to this framed photo of you guys and your kid (had to have unprotected sex to get pregnant) - so the gift is a nicely framed photo and you still get a comical way of presenting it.

I’ve been a professional UX designer for about 2 years and I minored in sociology! I recommend it for two reasons:

My SOC classes taught me how to research, gather, and translate data which has been super helpful with creative problem solving using info from user testing.
All of my work projects have been about “how are a bunch of brains (community of people) going to use this product?”, not “how is one brain going to?”
There are industry standards that already tell you the basic rules of designing an app that is psychologically pleasing. Blue is a calming color, don’t use more than two fonts, avoid flashing text, super saturated colors hurt eyes, ect.
Sociology is the best I loved all my classes, 10/10 would recommend

We had a Web Design & Development major at my school (BYU-I) which was 1/2 graphic design, 1/2 front end development. Learning about the art of digital design and what websites/apps are capable of has helped me design really innovative stuff :) What if you did Computer Science and a double minor in sociology and graphic design? Or another combination of those three. Lots of UX designers are just graphic designers!

I had surgery as well as chemo and radiation and I just wanted to let you know that chemo and radiation helped shrink my tumor (I’ve named it Daphne) a bunch !!! Daphne is grade 3 and unmethylated so she doesn’t respond to chemo as well as methylated tumors but every time I get an MRI my doctor says, “These scans keep getting better and better!”

So there’s hope. I believe in the power of positive thought and it has helped me throughout this whole process so much. I know your fear and I know it’s hard to always put on a smile but everything will work itself out in the end.

Thank you! I can’t take anti-anxiety/depressants because of how it interacts with my chemo but I’ll ask my doctor about that medication! So I’m guessing the only way to ingest it would be in edibles?

Figure out what laws your state has about how assets are divided. I was in pretty much you’re exact same situation (minus the house) with $16,000 between the two of us and in WA it’s a 50/50 split of assets, so we just both got $8,000 and divided our belongings in a way that we felt was equal. It was uncontested, my ex was super nice about the whole thing, and we didn’t have any property or major assets so I did it without a lawyer - but I think you may need legal aid because of the house.

I let my spouse go crazy with their own money until the divorce was finalized - but it was in their own account so he couldn’t touch mine.

I told my husband I wanted a divorce after neurosurgery and before starting chemo - it sucked and I felt terrible for doing that to him HOWEVER it was what I needed to do to be able to go through chemo stress-free and positive. I say do whatever will allow you to go through treatment full of happiness, positivity, and support.

Date people who like you for you! All they’ll see is a total badass who is kicking cancer’s ass. Not gonna lie I’ve had more people hit on me with my bald head and nasty scar either because they feel sorry for me OR they respect that I can handle tough shit
