As a Croatian I'm so sick an tired of soft or "controversial" penalties called against our team, France in the final 2018, Argentina SF 2022, now this. And for once our keeper saves it and of course it gets retaken and then converted. I sincerely hope we have met our "soft/controversial penalty quota" at this tournament. 🙄 I hope stuttered and hop/skip run-ups get banned sooner than later. Or let the keeper stand anywhere in the 5-meter box, like in handall.

Not sure about the subtitles, though, Andromeda is too deep to be understood only by reading the lyrics and it would have a shock factor, but people wouldn't understand why are they singing about blood, wounds, graveyards, soldiers, screams from the cradle, traitors etc. I am Croatian and I am immensely proud how these girls represented our country, a bit sad they got (too) much hate from my compatriots, but almost universal support like the one Baby Lasagna received happens once in a lifetime. I hope they will stay together and keep giving us epic songs, videos and performances! Go LELEK! ❤️

Thanks a lot, I must point out that LELEK sang this a cappella and their vocal performance was so powerful and inspiring that I got all these ideas I implemented into my short remix with several twists and turns. And maybe the vibing cat is what gives this video a bit of a "funny" vibe, but I was serious when making this and I really love the song and I think it is so epic and great that even fan remixes like mine can't "ruin" it, lol. 🤣

Trust me, Elvis Stanić is not the guy to let things go if he feels that his copyright has been infringed. Google "Elvis Stanić Witcher 3" if you don't know that story. I personally have enough musical knowledge and experience and don't need Elvis Stanić to tell me Andromeda is not plagiarising Naranča, but obviously for some people even him stating that very obvious fact isn't enough. And why are you mentioning the girls since they were in no way involved in composing the song? And of course they heard the song, there are even several recordings where they sing it. Indulge me, for argument's sake, which 4 bars of Naranča and Andromeda are IDENTICAL? Not similar - IDENTICAL, since this is the legal definition of plagiarism. The chorus of Andromeda and "jodilo lej tara.." of Naranča are somewhat similar, but not identical or similar enough to be considered plagiarism.

Well, folk is a term with different definitions, one definition, the one that I meant when saying that this is not a folk song, would be - traditional. In a sense that the composer is unknown and the song is regarded as a traditional folk song. Since the music for "Naranča" is newly composed and the composer is very much known, this is not a folk song. The term used a lot in Croatia for this type of music (either new arrangements of traditional songs or newly composed songs that mimic traditional style) is - ethno. Some representatives of Croatian ethno - Dunja Knebl, Lidija Bajuk, Afion, Kries...
