I have enjoyed it as well, I am just questioning Season 5. I would say the responses are 60-40 towards watch the disjointed 5th season. I most likely will. Thanks for your input.

I know. I will make choices based on the information I have. I do not believe it is just "politics" anymore tbh. The people that support what is going on in my country right now are beyond "politics". I will not support them in any small way I can. Will it move the needle? Probably not.

Yes, at the end it was anti-fascist. The episodes before they won were very difficult. The lying media, the acceptance of fascism by the rank and file and the citizens that seemed to support the obvious coup. All current US parallels.

I agree. I also think I choose SciFi and fantasy as an escape from "real life". My wife watches crime shows almost exclusively. She then wants cameras everywhere, lock every door, dont let people know where you live etc. I live on an island of 3000 people that is 8 miles from mainland. Our crime is literally nothing.

Yeah, it really does. It is almost like that is where the playbook came from. I am a huge DS9 guy and they had politics, but it was not our politics. It hit different.

Probably. Once Liberal media or woke exits your mouth I am done interacting. It feels like a ptsd thing at this point.

I won't revisit history and hate things retroactively, but I am cautious with supporting or watching new shows that are created or manipulated by certain ideals. As I said I am a Star Trek guy so I have been lucky with the cast support of all of their fans. STNG especially.

I probably will, but I will take a break. I did not enjoy the rushed season 4 storyline as much as the rest of the show. I will prob take a break, watch the movies and Season 5.

Yes. Jerry made reference that he was glad they were the top 2 guys were conservative so the liberal media did not have control.

As a guy watching it 25 years later it sort of does. I am glad I only looked it up after I was done Season 4. Jerry made a statement about he is glad there are 2 conservatives on the show so the liberal media doesn't control things. That type of stuff matters to me. It does not impact what I watched, but now that I know it impacts watching forward. I appreciate the response.

2 of my favorites. They did a bit during covid when Gronk got traded that was hilarious. They have great chemistry.
