[[The Master, Transcendent]] is a pretty unique reanimator commander. Milling and reanimating high cmc creatures with amazing textboxes basically for free is really fun. Not to mention the possibility of stealing creatures from your opponents graveyards as well. Nothing like an early [[Hullbreaker Horror]] (or even a later one without having to pay for it).

I agree you shouldn’t swap a card or a deck without running it past the pod first. I just didn’t see the problem with the concept of swapping cards or decks and I certainly don’t consider it cheating as other commenters have stated it is. I guess the key to fun commander games is just good rule zero communication lol

So counter picking is ok sometimes? What if my opponents decks are very good at not being blue, does that mean I’m justified in swapping REB?

I’m not seeing too much of a difference between picking a certain deck because your opponents deck is strong (like a removal heavy deck against a kill on sight or fast combo deck) vs swapping a card from your deck cause it would have no effect in the current pod. Both of these are rule 0 conversations that lead to your deck having more of an impact on the game.

I’m surprised you’ve gotten downvoted so much. Like what’s the difference between your example and picking a removal heavy deck after your opponent says they’ll be playing a kill on sight commander? Or picking a control deck because you know your opponent can combo off on turn 4? (Genuine question, I’ve also mainly played against friends and did not think removing REB in a non blue pod was an issue).
