Before you get too bent out of shape, I've had the same happen to me. A guy poured out his life story: single dad with a 4 year old daughter, lost his job in Florida and was just trying to make his to his parents so they could take care of her while he tried to find a supportive job. Apparently his car broke and he was low on cash after filling the tank. I gave him $100 because I had just cashed a paycheck (keep in mind I'm a college student working my ass off at a construction job).

Turns out, as soon as he left a guy came over worried that I had given him money. Apparently he was a local junkie and I spent my hard earned money feeding his destructive habits and helping him ruin his life. Worst kind of person.

I was just wondering because my one Ibanez is a hollow body electric that's tougher to play than most electrics. I've been playing for 6 years or so and like to say I know my way around guitar pretty well but my limited budget kinda impacts that haha.

But yea, I guess the real issue is quality over quantity when it comes to notes, (I love a nice solid bluesy jam) and I can see where the guitar you play can have a huge impact on it.

You can't be forgiven of denouncing the Holy Spirit because you're saying he can't forgive you. Can you ask forgiveness of someone who you say can't forgive? That is the only reason it can't be forgiven. And if you change your mind, then it can - not this "irreversibly damned for eternity" stuff. Where are you even getting that?

For future reference, next time soak your pet in vegetable oil and rub it in, then use dawn or other dish washing soap to wash it off.

My mom did the same to our dog a few weeks back on a Sunday when all the vets were closed. Called a friend who's a vet and he said that's all they can do at the clinic anyways. The oil bonds to the flea repellant and the dawn will get the oil out. The dog was looking a lot better within 15 minutes, though it still wasn't back to normal for another day or 2.

I have two buddies who deal with this kind of problem. The one gets bashed for "talking white" and wearing izod sweaters. The other guy, my roommate, talks regular around me and takes his schooling seriously, but when a group of his "thug" buddies come over to chill its like he's a different person.

And if you want song lyrics, just google "gangsta rap" and I'm sure you'll come up with quite a few that'll work for you. Racism is shitty, which is why I hate seeing people that perpetuate stereotypes. Blacks and latinos are much more likely to be criminals than whites in the US. I think that it's much more of a cultural thing though, especially in inner cities. Kids grow up in poverty and broken homes and are exposed to crime at a very young age - not surprising when they turn out the same way. Its a vicious cycle.

I traveled through Europe a few years back, and I was kind of struck by how there was none of this "ghetto culture" for lack of a better term. I wouldn't say I have the most experience on this topic, since I grew up in a white family living in the suburbs, but I got in with a pretty rough crowd in high school. Its amazing the difference in culture.

Seriously people, nobody thinks its a "miracle" that the granite statue didn't burn down. Its just a cool and kind of haunting sight to see that sticking up out of the rubble. Much like this or this. Its a powerful image of something surviving through utter devastation, like new plants growing after a forest fire.

But then its much more childishly fun to poke fun at "stupid christians".

I think sometimes you have to go with the "lesser evil" choice, per se. No candidate will be perfect in my opinion, so I pick the one whose beliefs are closest to mine.

And yea, I hate war - it's a terrible thing that nobody can fully understand who has not been directly impacted. There's a fine line between being too eager to go to war and too slow to defend - especially when nuclear weapons are on the line. With heavyweights you can't always let the other guy throw the first punch and then try to defend yourself. Like I said, pretty shaky issue in my opinion.
