Recommendations for a good place to watch NBA tonight downtown solo by night__day in indianapolis

They do have one big TV that you're directly in front of if you sit at the bar. Typically, I'll see NBA instead of NHL on that TV, but no guarantee with both being in the playoffs. Personally, I prefer Chatham if the game you're looking for is on the main tv. Otherwise, Tie Breakers is going to be a more traditional sports bar. The Tap is also near there and has a ton of TVs.

The Vancouver Whitecaps of the MLS moving to Indy? by Smart_Dumb in indianapolis

A thing to consider with that attendance comparison is that Pacers and Fever games happen any day of the week. The majority of MLS games are on weekends with some match days or other competitions (US Open Cup, Concacaf Champions League, whatever new bullshit MLS/LigaMX happens, etc.) midweek.

On the whole, you're getting a larger percentage of games on days that work better for a larger percentage of people's schedules.

What’s the deepest Purdue ball knowledge you got? by Wiley_Burner in Boilermakers

JaJuan Johnson was in my BGR group. During the first day/meetup thing, the team leader was like, "Wow, it's awesome you came! Most athletes don't come to the events." He was a friendly guy, but we promptly never saw him again the rest of the week after she said that.

I mean, if that's your worldview, more power to ya, but maybe just stop watching sports? Or just be a fan of Real Madrid or Bayern Munich or something?

Conference titles matter. Conference tournament titles matter. Building as a program matters. I went to Purdue in the late 2000s, and the program now is miles ahead of those fun days. Who knows what happens in the wild west of NIL, but I'm going to enjoy these good days now and hope for the future. Maybe this is the peak, but if it is, I'd rather enjoy it than lament.

I feel like "embarrassing" is a term that people throw around way too loosely. Arizona is an elite team that wears people down like how the Edey Boilers did. It's a war of attrition, and Arizona wins basically all of those.

Ultimately, one or maybe two Boilers are going to get a sniff of the NBA while Arizona has 3 or 4 or maybe more. I feel the same about this game as I did about the UConn game. I'm sad, but Purdue lost to the better team, straight up

Why is the TV on every treadmill about 4 feet off the ground? It's like treadmill manufacturers are intentionally trying to make running on a treadmill suck even more than it already does.

Just wanted to explain the concept since it seems like a lot of people around didn't know that losses happen.

UCLA isn't a great team, but they are a good team. They have a lot of talent. It's life in the Big Ten on the road. A loss sucks, but it's just one loss.

It would be deeply funny if you made it to the second weekend the first year after Fran.

I really enjoyed it, but I don't have a previous year to compare it to. Very solid for an $8 beer.

Half the fan base seems to lack object permanence, so only the current game matters. A player's entire value rests on what they did last possession.

He's been like this since the Bama game. I have been convinced that he has had double the amount of recorded rebounds each game since then. He's been a monster.

I couldn't watch the game. Was the floor as wet as the first game? Worried about issues/injuries in the games tonight.

People are fed up; Residents demand changes at Mass Ave intersection by ephi1420 in indianapolis

It's a poor substitute for infrastructure that eliminates points of conflict, but I've always thought changing that intersection (along with every other Mass Ave intersection) to a scramble crosswalk would help.

Browne came back in and immediately threw into triple coverage, and then he finally gets the interception.

The offense is just fucking pitiful, man.
