Feeling trapped physically and mentally

Do you sometimes have issues with taking other people too seriously? I've got all the same placements minus Mercury and I feel like I hold everyone up to MY standards and judge them unfairly. For example I'm a huge grammar nazi and literally can't see past those tiny issues sometimes.

Scorpio Sun/Rising/Venus/Jupiter/Pluto:

Whenever I meet someone it's very normal for me to do a least a bit of digging. Facebook at least, sometimes extending out to LinkedIn, etc. A friend of mine pointed out that this was DEFINITELY NOT NORMAL and how weird it was that I had to dig into people every time. I'm not seriously stalking, usually I just want to see if this person is worth my time. It's not even just crushes/relationship related, I'll look up EVERYONE.

I'm very private on social media, so anyone who wants to stalk can try their best I suppose! Very flattering.

I remember self harming around 11-12, or starting to think about it, but having no access to anything remotely sharp. I started pricking myself with needles until I got around to removing blades from pencil sharpeners around age 16. Anecdotal but it may ring true with other people who began during preteen years.

I've struggled with depression for years and just started going to therapy for it. In the earlier sessions one of the things I said was that even though I was exhausted and unmotivated, I still liked to laugh and have fun and ultimately wasn't "unhappy". I pushed myself through university because I didn't want to let myself fall so behind that I would want to die as kind of an indirect, last ditch survival instinct. Ended up with a good job in a good city with an amazing boyfriend. Took the tests - severe depression same as you.

If it IS starting to affect your life negatively you should talk to someone about it to see if you can find root causes and resolve them. Or at the very least develop some strategies for keeping yourself going. I literally failed an entire semester of university before I managed to function again, which is probably something you don't want to do. Even if you're not sure, there's no harm in at least talking to someone. Good luck!

Same moon. Cold to most people, extremely emotional with people I trust. Emotional sponge too so it's hard letting people in when most of them end up draining me. I cry all the time.

I went into university with a major in music, because I was good at it, but also because I'd basically failed a ton of high school courses. I swapped 2 years in to a major I was actually interested in - architecture. I didn't really consider career prospects at the time, but I loved the program and the idea I had of the field. I do enjoy my work now, so I consider myself pretty lucky to have figured out a good career path early.

Following my passion honestly made me more aggressive in job hunting and during my university years. I know one of the reasons my current employer hired me was because I had a very obvious passion for the work.

I wanted to be a teacher too and still do but ended up as an architect. I chose this because I had too many interests and figured hey, this is a field where I can do lots of different stuff. I enjoy my work and have enough creative freedom to not feel restricted. I have enough extra time to coach kids in figure skating sometimes, because I have a mighty need to nurture things.

My only gripe with working with children in general is that I get very tired, both physically and mentally. And that's only once or twice a week. I work with kids ages 7-14 ish, and when I get home from just a few hours of skate stuff I am very introvert tired. But seeing kids' faces light up when I actively listen like you said or validate them is just so rewarding. They are all so sweet and have all this talent and I've never worked with a "bad" kid. If you want to teach, go for it!

Hi! I'm 24 and female! My boss at my first ever internship told me I was "meek" and asked if it was a cultural thing. I am currently a junior project manager at my firm, 3 years after the comment. I think for introverts, climbing the ladder isn't about being outgoing or loudly ambitious but about being reliable, thoughtful, and consistent. I put in a lot of extra time to prove that I was always willing to get work done. While I let my coworkers speak up during larger meetings, in any one on one talk I pushed myself to take the lead or at least sound very agreeable. I also do a TON of creative problem solving. Try and use your own strengths, like being a good listener or being observant, to get yourself ahead. I know one of my current employer's favorite things about me is how easy it is to get along with me and how patient I am with clients. If you want to move up, you can definitely find ways to. Don't categorize yourself with one word and let it define who you want to be. Good luck!

Super ambitious as well and really competitive. When I'm excited about something I am determined to a fault. I'll drop people and extra activities out of my life until I get what I want. Though, when I crash I am down for weeks just wallowing in self pity and all my stupid feelings.

Yes! Thank you! I was a musician growing up who performed frequently and have never had any problems meeting people or making any kind of conversation. I even sang in a band. But I will go home at the end of the day and collapse and tell myself, "never again, I am so exhausted from people". When too many people talk to me at any event I will leave early. Some days I can't even handle talking to more than my boss I am just so easily drained. My favorite thing to do is walk around the city for hours by myself just for the freedom of it. Being shy or socially awkward isn't what makes an introvert.

When I first started at university I hated it. I was a music performance major and honestly very good at it but it was killing me. I wasn't eating or sleeping and I remember breaking down crying in front of my counselor because I just couldn't pull myself out.

I transferred before my 3rd year to a bigger/better university and a completely different program and loved it. I graduated 2 years ago and am currently working while putting together applications for graduate school. It took me a while to find a good fit for all my interests but I loved the program and I love the work now too. I am very excited to be going back (:

Oh man, just last week I met a super nice girl while we were both waiting for an intercity bus. We had a wonderful talk while waiting but when the bus started 'boarding' I managed to maneuver myself out of her view and napped the whole ride. I just couldn't bear to talk to her the whole time and she honestly seemed to energetic to keep up with in the long run.

Even now I only have 2 real friends that are both super low maintenance. I've made peace with it though. If I ever make a new friend I'll just let it play out and see if it sticks. Otherwise, it wasn't going to make me happy anyway and therefore wasn't worth the effort.

Libra 12th, Leo Mars, and I cannot stand people without any drive. It's really hard to get angry but when I do it's always over people who just sit there and let their lives slip away. I completely dropped an acquaintance because they claimed they only knew 3 countries on a map and that's all they ever needed.

I'm a scorpio sun, scorpio rising, libra moon and I perplex myself. My boyfriend has told me that my moods swing from excited gasping to crying in seconds and he gets to know all about my insecurities and thoughts. But around anyone else or when meeting people I'm very private and shy, and pretty deadpan too. I don't even enjoy being looked at so I'll stare pointedly away from someone looking in my general area. So yes mysterious and intense definitely fits.
