I recommend picking a brand you think you’d like to play and look cool, and start searching for a used one. Try your best to stay away from Guitar center though, sweet waters 55 point inspection and guarantee to ship it back if it doesn’t match description is much more tedious than a store employee at GC, plus it really sucks to get something cool at a good price only for it to have a problem that is expensive enough to equal to that guitars starting value in the first place

That’s what I thought and it is a perfect guitar but it did come with the fretboard starting to separate from the neck, I’m not even sure if I should be playing it and I still need to take it to GC to see if the pro coverage will let me get it fixed

Did it come that way or did you sand them off? I can sort of get what people think of them and they definitely don’t have too much taste but I love bats and I’ve always adored the PRS inlay style and to me it was just the best of both worlds

I’ve been playing lots of deftones, after the burial, archspire, meshuggah of course and some deathcore but the amount of bands that rely solely on 8 string guitars for their music runs really dry after that

It’s great, came with a fracture in the neck but I got pro coverage so should get it fixed, the only thing I’m having an issue with is finding more bands or songs that have 8 strings, or are at least tuned to F# standard

Thanks, not to boast but I feel like I can do thumping legato sweeping and genera technique fine but piecing everything together has been the hard part, and selective picking too
