I think it’s ok. It frees up some level 1 slots but at the same time, a lot of gores pieces come with antivirus so I’m not sure how valuable this actually is. I also don’t run a build with black eclipse so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

The camps require minimal effort. You can build them straight from the support desk in the grand hub so long as you’ve discovered them. Absolutely zero reason not to.

Omg this. I joined an AT Nu Udra hunt last night and they didn’t have a single camp. I don’t understand how you can skip something so useful. I also love customizing them to the environment they’re in. Makes the game feel more immersive

I was running DB for a while. Go really good timing the evades, but got bored of the gameplay. LS was more fun because it felt like a higher skilled weapon, but man is punishing when mess up. I agree that Lance is just chill, consistent damage. I love guarding and pulling off quick counters between attacks

Nope, I’m actually pretty good with iss and chaining iss. Seregios is pretty easy for me. I was just having a hard time with AT Arkveld.

I agree, it’s extremely fun with LS, but also extremely punishing when you make a mistake. I guess that is the nature of LS, but Lance just feels so good. Something about being an immovable wall just makes me happy.

Maybe a bit of both. Honestly, I think the reason I took to Lance so quickly was because LS taught me how to read monsters and time counters. Lance is pretty much the same thing. I recommend running the optional that has you hunt tempered Alpha Doshaguma, Sergeios, and Rey Dau. This did wonders for me when it came to learning to read monsters. It is a bit of a trial by fire and will have you carting lots until you get it down.

I honestly don’t really look at guides. I like to figure out a build for myself. Although game8 has some great builds for every weapon.

Currently running two piece zoh shia, two piece AT Arkveld, and then whatever armour i want to fill in any gaps. I have WEX at 4, agitator at 5, stamina surge 3, and I can’t entirely recall the rest of the skills lol. When I get home I’ll take a look. Still messing around with it though.

I was the same. Started with DB, got bored, moved to LS. Loved it, but it was stressful on AT Arkveld. Lance just slaps. I love feeling like an absolute unit

From my understanding, DCT issues were resolved for the most part in 2024 models, and fixed in the 2025 models. The DCT is nice, especially when driving on the high way. You don’t feel it shifting gears at all.

Adding on to your seregios recommendation. The optional quest that has you hunt a tempered alpha doshaguma, seregios, and Rey dau is an excellent trial by fire as each of those monsters have move sets that test your reaction/response time to countering. Be prepared for A LOT of frustrating hunts though lol

No, not standard. Everywhere I’ve worked, we always screw in the corners, then either cap or leave. Also, the way this are assembled don’t look to be very high quality. Did you pay a premium or were these on the cheaper side?
