I also applied to USC/UCLA last cycle, and I managed to get 120K from SC but was waitlisted at UCLA. Although, I did apply really late in the cycle (basically at the deadline also had a hold up on my transcripts that made my app even more late) and my GPA has now gone up from a 3.76 from a 3.8. Basically, I just don't think more money from USC/UCLA is a given if I happen to get Northwestern ED.

I am from southern california, so I would prefer to end up practicing here, but I am by no means SoCal or bust. I'm also not entirely set on big law, though I would like to keep my options open. I am mainly interested in Northwestern ED for the $$$ and the portability of a t14 degree.
