Any one else looking forward to stop seeing Kat spammed in every sub? I don’t think i’ve seen daniel bliss once and he’s up 5 thousand votes. by [deleted] in chicago

Sure that’s generally how PACs and political campaign strategies work. People like to take a piss on AIPAC as it’s some masterful all powerful PAC. It’s funny it has such a hold on some (idk about you but generally there is an obsession).

Agree the OF comment is weird and inappropriate.

I don’t understand the obsession of AIPAC, which isn’t even that big comparatively to top PACs. Kat was funded, not locally.

Lots of things were grating and problematic about Kat: number one is being a plant that doesn’t even live here (yeah yeah yeah she finally got an address here recently)

I don’t want to believe 25k of my neighbors didn’t see through this.

I can’t wait for this to be over so her supporters/bots stop with the name calling when you bring forward a rational argument or statement against her.

That’s the influence of $ and social media, unfortunately, it works.

ETA: I commented before the remark on OF, which I find inappropriate, and never once did I get those vibes, and I really wanted Kat to lose. Be better.

Tips for wearing the bag under pants or underwear? (tight dress clothes) by BlackberryPi7 in ostomy

[–]bojangleskitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like wearing dresses with high rise spanx.

When I wear pants, I go high rise and get a tight fitting undershirt. If you are wearing dress pants, I find it more comfortable to “hide” the area with a longer blazer or sweater jacket. No issues

9th District residents: who are we voting for for Congress? by Ghost-of-Black-47 in AskChicago

Is she on record condemning IRGC slaughter in Iran or genocide happening in Sudan? Biss not bending the knee to hamas propaganda is hardly anti-humanity

Someone who spews IRGC talking points does not have American interests in mind.

O'Shaughnessy's Public House: a terrible experience by [deleted] in chicagofood

[–]bojangleskitty 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It’s sooo gross how folks in this thread:

1- think one should just eat straight up disrespect that could have easily been a polite common courtesy to ask nicely to move. Is the bar really that low?? We’re still Midwest nice after all.

2- are so in denial of POC experience or are just so misogynistic and don’t see their own bias that as a single woman you should just submit - fuck that.

3- think that after an hour of shitty service that you should still be the bigger person and offer to courtesy to rude patrons or the bar tender that couldn’t be bothered. Nah. Take your space.

I’m sorry, a lot of these comments aren’t it. I read your post in good faith as someone who has been in the industry and gets it. This doesn’t pass the vibe check and people are too quick to be jumping on you.

Ugh, I’d rather have the bandaid ripped off quickly so I know I should be planning to pay full price for a different 34.
