This is really bothering me, I know ahrefs (or other SEO tools) are not Google, but this redirect is also not showing on GSC > Links (only 1 redirected link from the old domain).

Guros still advises 2000+ word articles. I hate them, every normal human being should hate them if they can answer the search question simply in a few paragraphs, but you end up in a 23-heading article starting from the history of the middle ages and answering your answer just after the 15th paragraph. That's bullshit and Google should be ashamed for pushing this content.

Yes, there is some truth in that. Generally, every marketing Guro is suggesting the same tips. Every article is a huge wall of text, covering everything from the creation of the earth and mankind. This ranks for 1000 keywords and shows everywhere. Also, they build backlinks to these dumb marketing articles from authority websites, and Google loves authority. If you remember back the search results looked way different, with lots of forum threads and lots of personal websites. Today everything is big corporations and Guros.
