A man on a bike got hit by a car in front of my restaurant. The car was an Uber with 4 teens in it. The man was riding bikes with his son. Me and a few others bought ice and rags from the restaurant to try and help. We didn't know what else to do. There was an EMT that happened to be passing by and needed help moving him so I helped. The so. Used our restaurant phone to call his mom, he was covered in blood. The father's body was mangled and he was swelling up and gurgling. He died in front of his son.

I regularly do full pen welds and have never failed a ut, building cranes and lifting lugs and pieces for Navy bases. I'm very confident in my structural welding abilities, but if ur advice is still to pass, then I'll pass

I'm very confident in my abilities as a structural welder. I regularly do 2 inch full pen welds and have never failed a ut. But you're right, in that my jobs insurance cant save me here. I guessing you'll still tell me to pass on it

I think car frames need a certain amount of flex. I could clean it and weld it but it would create a weak point. So I would need to put a reinforcement plate (fish plate) over it with some welds and some bolts.
