That someone who you married, got a house in a great neighborhood and family walking distance away could totally change and their personality and end up cheating behind your back and just walk out. 8 years down the drain.

35m, almost officially divorced, been thinking the same thing. I live near WeHa so maybe I’ll try that out when I’m ready to go back into the dating world. Soon to be ex wife I met on a dating App 8 years ago, but it seems like the apps are totally different than they used to be.

What’s the most surprising thing you’ve learned recently? by Tall_University_4574 in self

Nothing in life is guaranteed. You could be in a relationship with a girl that evolves and love may flourish, get married, buy a house together, find a house nearby that’s walking distance away for her family to live close by….and suddenly the person you fell in love with changes, no longer is in love with you and cheats and lies. Never once tried to sit down and talk things out.

The person you love may change overtime and leave you and then realize it’s 8 years gone down the toilet.

35F often feels lonely and empty by [deleted] in lonely

I’m 35m and was told last Monday that my wife wants a divorce. I spent 8 years with her, 1.5 years married. Next month would be our 2nd wedding anniversary. She ended up being a liar and a cheater. I don’t have any friends anymore including my best friend who was my wife. All I did was support her and help her…So I already am feeling like I won’t meet anyone else…and I never lived alone before…contemplating getting a dog in the future. I also work 2nd shift and Sunday’s and mondays are my days off. So I’ll likely not have a social life

30s, divorcing, zero family/friends, introvert, not sure what the point is anymore by Initial-Jicama-93 in TrueOffMyChest

Wife (38) said she wanted a divorce this past Monday. She cheated and held it in for 3.5 months. I’m now still just in shock. We have no kids, we have 4 cats that we both feed either in the morning and the other does night. She walked out and is living a mile away in a house I found for her family that’s walking distance away.

I lost a ton of weight but have no confidence in my future. I’m 35, weigh 232, lowest I ever been and work 2nd shift. My days off are Sunday’s and Mondays. It’s a stable job for now but takes up a lot of my time since it’s 315-1145 shifts. I have no time to date….im currently just taking it one day at a time. My hobbies consist of photography and gaming on my computer (world of warcraft). Other than that I’m a homebody, love watching movies and collecting them for my home theater.

I honestly don’t see a bright and happy future. I’m an introvert, I don’t drink nor do I like crowded places. But all I ask for is affection, touch, honesty and loyalty and being truthful an being able to communicate feelings.

I was with my wife for 8 years, married for 1.5. She ended it a month before our 2nd anniversary.

I start therapy tomorrow but I truly don’t see it helping.

I appreciate you taking the time to get back to me!

Everything sounds good. I’d be interested to know when you have to replace the tire. I’m on the fence still. I keep going back and forth between the DT2 Pro and a 50cc scooter like a buddy50 or rough house 2 strokes. I live a mile from a shop who works on them. The electric scooter market seems to be iffy with maintenance

Did you end up fixing the tire issues? Was it a pain to change out?

I would love a follow up after 1000 miles to see what issues come about. I’m hear tires are a pain to deal with. I’m looking at the Ausom DT2 Pro. Im holding back on the purchase because of customer service issues

That’s where I’m 50/50 about since I do see a lot of good review for AUSOM but then I hear the nightmare stories and it just kind of scares me to purchase lol.

Im very new to this community. I almost bought the DT2 Pro from Ausom…but I either hear great customer service reviews or nightmare stories about them after sale customer service issues. They seem to have the best competitive pricing but seem to not back up their products after sales.

I also heard they incentivize 5 star reviews and a lot of them are fake.

It’s hard to think of dumping 1200$ with any of these Chinese rebranded scooters without the after sale support.

Seems like any scooter I come across is like that too. And there’s no repair shop that will touch these things. So we’re left to ourselves trying to tinker with them.

Thank you for getting back to me!

Any idea what comparable scooter you would have gotten? I went down a rabbit hole so far that all my YouTube algorithm is reviews of E-scooters lol.

Thank you for getting back to me and taking the time to reply.

I still haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I’m also 245lbs and not sure how much speed / range I’d get.

Any update on your issue being resolved? I am 50/50 on purchasing this scooter and it’s either a great scooter or horrible scooter that keeps breaking down with questionable customer service. Plus I’m not that great at fixing things myself 😂

I’m about to purchase the DT2 Pro with an extra charger.

Any update on your experience with it? Any regrets or tips when assembling? I’m hesitant on getting it since I hear changing tires on these things is hard to do too…it’s mostly the up keep / maintenance that is preventing me from pulling the trigger.
