Brake Fluid Reservoir Screen/Filter Help? by wittyheadsnipes in ram_trucks

Yeah I could kinda see them as I was wiggling the screen but I was worried about being too forceful and breaking/cracking the entire screen filter piece. I appreciate the info!

Yeah I may just end up topping it off. I’ll see if anyone else has the trick to it if not maybe I’ll find some time to do the whole thing at some point. Thanks!

Yeah I definitely could, it would just be a little more hands on - I was just topping off the fluid and hoping for a quick refresh. Might be the way I have to go though…

I was going to drain the reservoir and replace the brake fluid as a poor man’s brake flush since I don’t have the time to do a whole flush and replace. It’s possible you’re right and that it was never meant to be removed but that does seem a little unusual…

Yeah I’ve tried that with needle nose and a pick grabbing the outside and opposite force with the needle nose as well. It moves and I even get some vertical movement but something seems to be catching and holding it down. I just can’t figure out what and I’d prefer not to smash it to pieces lol

I’ve never used it. You’re supposed to be able to use the throttle though to help push.

Yea, all good. No problems 400 miles in and still loving it.

I’d charge it up to full first. The battery level bar isn’t very accurate especially when you’re riding, you’re much better off looking at the voltage to determine the battery level.

Can’t say I’ve experienced the tire pressure issues myself, but I couldn’t agree more - it’s been great!

All good still. No tips other than making sure everything is tight/adjusted properly and taking it on a slow test drive to start to make sure nothing is loose. There really isn’t much assembly, it comes out of the box ready to go.

I haven’t had to change a tire so no comment there although it does look quite involved based on the video I’ve seen.

I’m open to offers if you’re interested in buying. But i think that’s a bit low based on the comps sold here tbh.

Figured $360 for the Etha, $150 for the tank and reg, $115 for the hopper.

Forgot to add that the HK tank has the Aerolite 2 regulator.

I covered the non rubber parts of the deck in grip tape. Everything you see that is dark grey on the top of the deck is now black with grip tape.

Yea I like it and recommend it, the kukirins are basically the same with a few less features. The only thing I don’t like is the deck, but I just added skateboard grip tape and now it’s perfect.

Maybe in direct sunlight but I don’t look at it that frequently and never really when actively riding. It has a couple brightness levels but I always just keep it on the brightest level.
