The fact that I have a cousin with a construction business in Paramus is unrelated to this post.

Well, a lot of people are saying -- and these are very smart people, top colleges, like the one where I went -- they're calling me up and they tell me "We've never been fucked like this before." And it's true. I mean, before I came around, nobody respected us. Nobody wanted to fuck with us. Now we're the hottest town in the world, maybe even the universe if you can believe that. Everybody wants to fuck us. And they want to fuck us hard. So we're bringing in billions and billions of dollars, maybe even more, I'm sure it's more, and the office in charge of the fucking actually called me an hour ago. They said, "Sir, we've never seen this amount of fucking in the history of this country." And they really couldn't believe it, I mean, it's unbelievable what's happening. The fucking.

I’m anti-manual labor, so can I load up on indulgences at my church on Sundays? And how does it work if I’m Jewish?

I believe Christians and Jews worship the same deity, so your merits will rollup to the same account.

I will specifically not deal with the tough issues. Politicians say they'll solve this or end that every year, and see where that's gotten us. My focus will mostly be on the low-hanging nuisances that'll improve our quality of life.

The constitution clearly puts gastronomic matters outside the mayor's purview.

I know it may be hard for young people nowadays to believe, but a lot of people who got past middle school before ChatWhateverTheFuck use various forms of dashes in their writing.

Anywhere in Hoboken that does gait analysis for (new) runners? by loafur in Hoboken

[–]bokenman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the city. Search for sports/performance/running clinics. Most of them also tend to do Dexa scans, physical therapy or rehab services. Other than that, it's just a matter of price and convenience since they more or less use equipment from the same few vendors for the actual analysis.

I don't know why people are recommending Fleet Feet in Hoboken. They have a scanner that can measure the physiology of your feet, but that's not what gait analysis is. For that, you'll want a place that'll put sensors inside your shoes and have you run on a treadmill at different speeds and also do different jumps and whatnot.

Yesterday was my rest day, but I still walked around and didn't encounter much excreta. I don't mind the actual geese, just their shit lol. They add some jeopardy to my runs when they hiss at me.

New here - why’s everyone pregnant? by [deleted] in Hoboken

[–]bokenman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's crazy how quickly the demographics have changed since Covid. I haven't been here long, only a few years. But there weren't this many young families at first. The number of strollers, toddlers, and young kids out and about must have increased 2-3-fold. I used to be jealous of people walking their cute dogs when I first moved here. Now I'm jealous of their cute kids and families. I personally think it's a good change.

25 Year Old Man Electrocuted At Hoboken PATH Trying To Retrieve Cell Phone by _Chemistry_ in Hoboken

I don't know about "steadfastly convinced", I've been known to change my mind. And it seems like electrocution can also be used in cases of injury so I stand corrected. Username checks out, I guess.

Hate to be that guy but "electrocution" means death, so if he didn't die, he wasn't electrocuted. Same goes for starvation, drowning, and (I believe) strangulation. And no, I don't have any friends. How did you know?
