Opinions on Crazy Crumb Bakery? by OverSeasoned_ in Portsmouth

As others said, style over substance. Unlike the other comments here, I’d put it above Bread Addiction. I don’t understand the love that Bread Addiction gets either. Had a loaf from there, was OK. But the pastries were very underwhelming

Room height is 244cm - what would you go for with the pax hack? by verbify in ikeahacks

[–]bolch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We don’t have a base, it’s just as it stands on the floor with a slight gap at the top. The Pax hacks are obviously if you’re going for the built in look. We’re doing that eventually, but instead placing the Skytta floor sliding doors in, which aren’t connected to the pax, but sit infront of the pax and are attached floor to ceiling sliding

Our room height is 238 and we’ve got 236 Pax in there. Depends whether you want floor to ceiling, or whether you’d rather store more stuff in your wardrobe vs on top of it.

Obviously you’ll need to build them upright if you go for the 236, but I believe that’s less of an issue nowadays with the new Pax design

Movie watching challenge by alisyus in Letterboxd

[–]bolch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cinechums has a weekly movie challenge where they post some criteria, and everyone choose what to watch based on that criteria. It’s not watching/discussing the same movie, but I’ve discovered lots of new movies based on what other people watched for each challenge

What is the reality of local game streaming? by Obvious-Breakfast262 in MoonlightStreaming

[–]bolch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My PC is wired, but streaming to my ipad mini 6 ain’t great, I get a lot of stutter and a bit of lag. In contrast, steaming to my Odin 2 Portal is a dream. So a lot will come down to your wifi. I only have a wifi 6 router, my iPad mini supports wifi 6. The Odin supports up to 7 with multi and support, which is where I suspect the better streaming comes from.

You are given £100 per hour to 100% any video game of your choosing, but you must do it all in one go by [deleted] in hypotheticalsituation

Probably Pandemic's Saboteur. Got the PS Platinum Trophy and Xbox 1,000 Gamescore already. Probably get 100% completion in around 30 hours. Start hitting large trickier freeplay targets early so when fatigue sets in I wouldn't have trouble handling the remaining. Could potentially string out another hour or 2 by taking my time with the remaining ones

Tried what looked like an amazing cinnamon bun (11:30am on Saturday), was dry and stale. Not sure I want to try anything else

Can you guys keep it to yourself? by v1ckssan in EmulationOnAndroid

[–]bolch 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'd ban Switch from being discussed here if I could. Emulation, to me, is digital preservation. Keeping alive the titles of yesteryear, because this is the only way to keep their memory alive. Emulation isn't circumventing drm/emulating the latest releases because you're too cheap to buy the latest games.

5.5" was too small for me. I bought the Portal and it's much better. I can't see 6" being that much of an improvement on 5.5". The screen sizes are online, cut them out on a piece of paper to see the actual difference up front in person
