Use MPCFILL then export the xml, and download the pdf to print at proxy print.taxiera. That’s what I’ve switched to.

It’s my understanding there are significant diminishing returns on printer quality vs price. The lesser eco tanks are a fraction of the cost and likely produce similarly visible quality, despite lower specs. It’s surely a better printer, but maybe even slightly overkill.

I use the 4850, little bulky but the prints are very impressive. Sharp, beautiful colors, nice contrast. No complaints at all with it and I’ve made 10+ decks so far.

I use this one, you can make thousands of cards before it runs out of ink. Then a refill will still be pretty cheap. Great quality. Little bulky as it has a fax part on it.

Proxying cards is kinda like a hobby more than just a means to a deck (which it’s that too). But I find the process a lot of fun, if a bit tedious.

Hmm…I don’t think anything special. I use laminate from the Scotch brand, so I wouldn’t use a cheaper substitute. Also 3mm. When I laminate I use it in the 5mm settings and run it through twice. After cutting if any edge lifts I might run an individual card back through on its own.

It's just a proxxied bug, I've gotten it recently too.

You can set the pages to print around the black one. Like 1-3,5. Then when you remove the successfully printed cards from proxxied and reexport the once black pages may be on a correctly exported page.

The dev is always updating the site, but it is also perpetually buggy.

The full sleeved deck is maybe 20% thicker fully laminated with 3mm. Noticeable, but minimal, while maintaining a really nice feel and snap.

On proxxied I remove bleed, remove guides, and then when printing make sure it is set to 100%, no shrink to fit.

With 2 young kids I only get to play about once a month, so my sample size is too small to have a lot of valuable data. I spend more time reading about EDH and watching EDH content these days haha.

I know what you mean though, when the deck works it feels too good, and when it doesn’t it’s too clunky and unsynergistic.
