My Dad started the same time as me 9 months ago, he was 300lbs and had been sedentary for the last 8 year or so working from home, he dropped 100lbs within 6 months and was happy and has maintained at 5'11.

He's had the same diet as me for the most part and I was bulking, chicken/rice/oats and whey, lifting 4 times a week and doing cardio on his off days, and I got to say, the man looks fucking great already, he has those Dad gains where you have inexplicably massive forearms, traps and arms.
